A Reliable Smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was my first smartphone and it is extremely reliable and adaptable, even when given newer software to run. Even with newer apps on the Google Play Store, this phone can handle most games and photo editors very well.
One thing I did notice about my phone, which I should mention is three years old, is that it packs a lot of software that I can't remove. I personally blame this on the provider for my phone (it wasn't unlocked when I got it.). This wouldn't have been too much of a problem, if it wasn't causing my phone to heat up from the use of many, many background applications that I don't even use. This got worse over time, as I like to install games and social media apps that commonly run in the background to give me reminders and/or notifications. These background processes, along with everything else, made my phone heat up frequently.
The camera itself is great. I did a side-by-side comparison of a picture of a boat with my friend. He had an Iphone 5s. The picture on my phone was higher quality, and looked more colorful and detailed on my phone's screen. That probably had to do with the AMOLED screen, though. Speaking of, I love the screen. The quality of is nice to have when you're someone who actively watches videos.
Overall, this phone has gotten me through boredom when I'm waiting or traveling, it's gotten me through studying by being there to quickly search for information, it's especially been there for me when I'm recording or taking pictures. I couldn't have asked for a better phone at the time.
Pros: many useful features for multi-tasking
Cons: loaded with pre-installed applications

This is a very worthwhile purchase

The Samsung Galaxy S4 although an older phone at this point is still one of the best values on the market. It holds several features including S Voice, two soft buttons next to the home button, and a beautiful, durable outer case. It is very customisable with nearly everything, including the home-screen without dangerous rooting. Although not as fast as newer Samsung Galaxy, Note, or other phones, it is still one of the fastest I have ever used with its efficient home layout, useful soft buttons, and a helpful support and update system when linked to Samsung's website. The only complaint (which is in my opinion, fixed in the Galaxy S5 and later models) I have is the left soft button which opens a short menu of options rather than switches tabs; holding the home button for approximately a second is the only way of doing this that I have encountered while using the Galaxy S4.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: not very useful left soft button

I like this phone due to the fact that is easy to navigate through the functions and their applications downloading is easy also like the fact that you can use it like if it's your own computer also the unique way you can transfer photos and information from phone to phone using another Galaxy phone

I love this phone! Perfect size and easy to use. Been a IPhone user for years and this phone surpassed it.

I use my Galaxy S-4 as main phone,call quality is great,
Plays Netflix and you tube pretty good for me.able to keep track of appts. B-day and such.play some games on it just (ex.-fallout shelter).good to use as alarm or timer,easy to Chang ring tones & notifacations.
