Great product with great value

Great screen, big battery in a well designed handset that has too many extras to list. Engineering has met design and both are winners.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, great battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Maybe it's not the best or fanciest smartphones but it does what I want it to without issues. There are plenty of apps to install if you want them and the capacity is good. It doesn't slow down too much, and I've had other smartphones that couldn't handle too many apps. The only thing I don't like are the preinstalled apps that you can't install
The camera is good and takes nice pictures.
I personally don't use the many available gestures but they're there if you want them.

I love my Samsung Galaxy S4. .... it's an awesome piece of technology. ...
But....
I hate the factvthat there is a ridiculous # of stupid pointless built in apps that come along with it. I don't want or need an an NFL app.... I Do not need a redundant # of browser apps and other pointless apps taking up data space etc etc.
Also.... The latest update is totally garbage.... it decreased my battery life by at least 40%......
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: too many dumb built in apps waste too much space, new software update decreased my battery life 40%
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find it very user friendly...has many features not on other phones...falling in love with this machine. Will see what samsung is offering in two years...upgrade!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, unique features, slim and lightweight

I've been happy with the S4 - it had all the features I liked and was root-able (very important to me). Great screen and usually pretty snappy performance. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another of these and will likely stay in the Galaxy family, as long as each model is root-able.
I won't mark it as a con, but I wouldn't mind the phone being a bit heavier or bulkier if it meant I could have it a bit more durable. I get nervous with these big screens!

Best android on the market, except for durability

Even compared to the S5, I'm perfectly fine with my 13MP, quad core cell phone. Changes between S4 and S5 are miniscule, making the S4 a currently cheap-in-price phone. TouchWiz isn't the best ROM, but with launchers on the market redesign the phone without rooting.
However, I've had four devices of the same model within one year. Two screens broke (where comparable drops leave an unprotected iPhone unscathed), third with faulty Wi-Fi, and the fourth is my current.
If you get this phone, be sure to get something better than bumper or one-layer cases.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight, "restart" shortcut, hd display and camera quality
Cons: glass breaks easily, low brightness outdoors, thin plastic body/backing
