great phone, good heater

I like my phone. I have had it for a couple of years, and it had always done what I asked of it. Quick response when opening apps, battery life is decent although not great. My biggest complaint is probably just that it gets very warm at times. I am not sure what app is running in the background that makes it work so hard, but it gets very warm even after stopping all running programs. I have been occasionally thankful for even that, sometimes, during cold Wyoming winter days! It's quite large one you put it in a case, but isn't durable enough to go without one.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight

Best bang for your buck!
This phone is quick, holds a strong battery life, light and thin, nice big screen with HD Views, very vivid and vibrant colors, awesome standard features and very user friendly. This model is a few older but has very advanced features and gives you the best value for your money! Very satisfied and love my S4!

Bottom line. Two years out and the screen still looks great. Its up to date on Android updates. It handles well. Touchwiz used to be a tremendous eyesore, but it has come A LONG WAY. Happy user of two years and running.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, terrific display, solid battery life and removable battery, micro sd expansion, good all around performance
Cons: camera suffers in low light, ships with a lot of bloatware

This phone has been my favorite smartphone until the Samsung S5 came out. I would recommend this phone for a beginner int the world of smartphones for the easy of use.

Solid but cheap-feeling

The phone itself is actually not that bad -- granted there was a point or two where I had to not only take the back off, but the battery, speakers, and the rest of it off to get to fixing the power button because it kept getting stuck. Sometimes it still does but I figured out a fix besides having to open it up every time. I thought the outer rim was made of metal but it's painted plastic......
However, inside this cheap body is a pretty good phone that runs wonders. Granted as with most phones, I factory reset it every year or so to keep it fresh and reinstall/store/backup my important data but so far so good! Lollipop has been working on it pretty well too.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: feels like a cheap build, overheats a lot
