I switched from the Droid 4 to the Galaxy 4 and so glad for it. Functionality is second to none. Battery life leaves much to be desire, but heck I haven't found a phone that can sustain reasonably. I often get teased about how big the phone is, but honestly for all that I do on this gadget I wouldn't have it any other way and it has never been a hassle for me.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, feature rich
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best phone I have ever had until the update to android. Now the phone locks up and had to be reset daily just to function.

Galaxy S4 Exceeds Needs!

Realistically, what features do you need in a smartphone? The Galaxy S4 has everything! Besides doing the obvious...sending and receiving phone calls.....it's features replace the need to carry a high end camera; squashes reliance on separate music devices; eliminate the need for a laptop; leaves bulky books home etc etc etc. It does all this superbly while providing speedy access to email, FB, games, files, texts, a zillion apps and more.
Beyond this phone....only "personal egos" causes buyers to "beg for more":)!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, large display
Cons: phone reception suffers in non-4g areas

Slim and powerful

Just like we all want to be, this phone is slim, sleek and powerful. It is fast and holds tons of apps and information. I love the interface and have explored many of the features.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: occassionally overheats

This phone is loaded with features, a great display, fast processor. The down side if you use all the features your battery will drain quickly. I have most of the features off and with heavy use I get 11-13 hours but with lite use I can get a day +.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, sd card slot
Cons: battery life

When I went to Japan 4 years ago, I had an iPhone foisted on me. My first smartphone. I didn't like it: the feel, the response AND being indentured to iEverything. Luckily the provider's signal was so bad I couldn't even get a signal in house which was in the central part of the city. So I made them cancel my contract and went to DOCOMO which has the best signal in Japan. And they only had SAMSUNGS! I immediately felt the difference. Not just the signal. The display resolution, the screens, the logic of Android, the freedom to choose apps and downloaded non-iEverything. So when I came back to the States and Verizon gave me the option: iPhone or Galaxy, it took me one nanosecond to get "GALAXY! " out of my mouth. And whether I win one or not, my next electronic purchase is a Galaxy Tablet.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, android environment is the best.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best cellphone ever!

I love this cellphone! It has such an easy operating system. The camera takes great photos. I don't know how I survived without this phone. The only design change I would make would be to locate the volume or the on/off button in a different location. I'm always lowering the volume by mistake. I am left-handed. Maybe that is my problem.
I did try to upload an example of a photo taken with the phone but I kept getting a Gateway error on this website. After the third try, I gave up.
