Prints well except for the manual printing is difficult. Manual two sided printing and wifi.

I love this printer. Easy to set up and print to from any wireless device. Printing quality is top notch and it prints very quickly. Like the feature that you can print a B&W page even if one of the color cartridges is out of ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast, quiet, good quality print and easy to set up. Works great from my Macs, works great with Airplay from our iDevices. Still on initial cartridges. A great value.

Prints fine normally, poor manual feeding.

Started up fine. Normal printing works well. However, manual feeding of envelopes is problematic Paper handling clearly has issues when using manual feeding. It usually takes several attempts to get it to work because I always get several "jammed paper" error signals. Despite these error messages, there has never been any paper jammed. I've even tried pulling out the paper tray when doing manual feeding of envelopes with no luck. It always takes several attempts. It is a real hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As always the quality, value and reliability of Brother products is outstanding. No disappointments with this printer either. Very easy to set up and use. Very affordable as well.

Reliable, good quality prints

Overall I like the printer. It does what I need at a reasonable speed.
It has a toner saving setting to use less toner with only a slight drop in print quality, but that feature cannot be combined with black-and-white printing. I wish they would add that feature.

Very Nice product for the cost

I have found this printer to be an excellent value for the cost. It is very easy to set up and have had zero problems since purchasing. The only negative comment and it is not necessarily specific to this printer, is that like all of these type printers, the tones is expensive. Like most people who are trying to save money, I have purchased a generic set of toner cartridges, but I still have the starter cartridges. If the generics work well, I'll be one happy camper and would welcome this little printer to anyone.
