This is a color laser printer that provides exceptional quality printing. I can find on criticism of the printer; however it does get irritating you buy a product and it comes with only a minimal amount of toner or ink. Aside from that, the printer was a great value an, so far, has worked with no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy set up and reliable

Purchased this printer to have color capability at home. The ability to duplex was a requirement. The wireless capability is a plus and I figured it would be convenient but was a little hesitant at adding this to my home wi-if network as I expected a cumbersome setup. Nothing could be further from the truth. The setup was amazingly simp,e and I now print from both my wired PC as well as my iPad to the HL-3170CDW. This is a great value.

Finally a affordable quality Color Printer

The 3170 is Business grade printer and at good price and produces quality prints in color and B/W, a nice thing is that it comes with a enough startup toner, that your not buying toner the day after you buy the printer, I'm a technician for a competing company and for the price it can't be beat

I have had this printer for about two months and so far i really like what it can do and the quailty that it prints in. I have not as of yet tried color printing. So far thrilled with printer.

Very happy with printer. Much better than always needing to buy inkjet cartridges. For heavier stock you should let it feed out of the back to avoid curling. It is a big and heavy printer so you will need adequate room to place it. It is not meant to be a photo printer. If you need photo quality or need to use photo paper this is not the printer for you. For greeting cards, craft projects, etc. I believe you will like it.
