Great Job, Keep it up.

In our in-house typesetting and design department we have had many different small printers for proof and pre-proof proofreading. Some of them were much more expensive and none, so far, has come with the quality, and service that we have found with the Brother 3170CDW. Excellent choice by our purchasing department.

Cool Color Laser Printer

This printer has done everything asked of it with smoothness and ease. The color on photos pop and the B&W is sharp and clear.

My wife and daughter are so happy with me, now that they can print from their iPads. The wifi networking works great and the print quality is good.

Something is happening

The machine is only about 18 months old. It has been working fine. All of a sudden, we are getting an occasional red rubbery piece on an occasional copy and ALL the copy have small indented places in them. I suspect some kind of roller is failing but haven't anywhere to take it.
I don't believe we should be experiencing this difficulty on such a new printer. Any help on what to do would be appreciated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product and Great Value

Used ink jet for years. Felt like a color laser was too expensive to operate. I was wrong this is a far better value and product than any product I have owned in the past.

Good budget color laser printer

Cons:
- compared to real Laser HP printer in my office, the color is a little bit less bright.
- a little bit slower on startup. Around 15 sec for the first page.
- very big & heavy. I guess that's how Color LED printers are.
- iPrint doesn't always work. Sometimes I cannot print directly from my Nexus 6 phone.
- iPrint needs improvement since it's a little bit difficult to use.
