Crisp printing

I have had the HL-3170CDW for a week and I am very impressed. Very good printing, crisp and clean. I have enjoyed many Brother products because of their ease of use and reliability. I am sure this printer will follow suit.

Good and bad

Good job for large printing projects. Complicated for small jobs such as printing checks where paper must be inserted in other than main drawer.

Not the fastest printer but then I did not need speed and it duplexes and the colors are good and I REALLY like it

Welcome upgrade

After using a competitive color laser printer fpr 7 years, I needed to upgrade. Much to my surprise, not only was the size and the price about half of what my old unit was, but the features had been improved. Who doesn't want to get more for less? And the quality is wonderful--good job!

First home laser printer. Like the low power standby mode. Good quality product. So much better than an ink jet. No more smears of ink. Really like the front & back printing capability, saves paper and file space. Color is accurate. Good response time to printing request to the time the pages are in the output tray. Big paper capacity. Excellent phone support, fast, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The best I have ever experienced. My first Brother product and will definitely consider Brother next time I need anything they make.
