This printer prints perfect copies every time. It is easy to program and even print wirelessly from an IPad. It seems like a very reliable machine. When I was purchasing the printer a gentleman with 7 Brother printers highly recommended it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even though I like features the instructions fall short and I still can't get crinkles out of paper.

Lots of trouble

I've had more trouble with this printer than we've ever owned.
Poor quality printing
Frequent ink blow-outs
Had to replace all drums at under 3500 prints
Doesn't resemble laser print quality
Cost of ink is incredibly high for what you can print

Good basic printer with easy to use features.

This is my first laser printer. It was easier to setup and use than I thought. Its good for basic printing. The toner cartridges are easy to replace and recycle. For duplex printing using the manual feed tray, I ended up feeding each document through one at a time. There may be an easier way. I don't like that you have to manually check toner levels. I wish it would pop up automatically with each print job. Also, colors don't print exactly as they are on screen. I knew this when I purchased the printer, but some of the variations are surprising every once in a while. I haven't had the printer long and have only replaced toner when it was empty. Overall, I like the printer. I will eventually need another larger printer and will look for another Brother printer.
