Really like the 2 sided print. so far, works great

No problems except on first mechanical set up. I didn't have a good view of the insides (my fault) and didn't notice the color coded slots. I put the toner in the wrong order and didn't notice a problem until I printed a color picture, The cartridges should be physically different (keyed to their slots) and/or the test sheet should label the colors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

more accurate color than my old Brother

After 8 years and 35,000 pages, My old Brother color laser printer died so I wanted another Brother. This one will only feed one sheet at a time with special paper unless I take empty the regular paper from the paper drawer and put in the special paper. The up side is that the colors come out right without any adjustment

Great Color Printer

The HL-3170CDW printer was easy to set up and connect to my network. The performance is great, the colors close to true and the printer Hybernates when not in use but wakes up when I command "print". Overall a very useful printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good printer but...

I've had this printer ( 3170CDW) for a year now. It is a great size, I love the color prints I get and it is normally quick once it gets going... however, it gets paper jams so easily it is maddening. I use a lot of card stock and always change my settings to 'thicker' but still they jam up. could use better settings for crafters :)
Also, it goes into deep sleep and is really time consuming to wait for it to wake up when needed.

The print quality is excellent! Sharp, crisp colors, close to WYSIWYG. Easy set up. Handled print jobs from multiple laptops with only the need to unplug and plug in printer once. Get the larger capacity toner cartridges so you do not need to replace toner cartridges often.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clean Clear Print

I love this printer, the print quality is excellent. I had a bit if difficulty setting up, but found a video on utube and it was really simple.
