I got this laser printer because I was got tired of buying ink to replace dried up ink jet ink as I don't use a printer very often. this printefr does everything as advertized.

I print alot & needed ink that was heat-set & resistant to water staining & this does the job beautifully.

I already have a Brother monochrome laser that I do most of my printing on I was using inkjets when I needed color but I was constantly having clogged print heads because I was using them so rarely. This is a frustration free way for me to have color when I need it.

Looks great, prints great. I love this brand and do recomend it to my customers. I do onsite consulting to small business and this is one of my go-to printers. I like the reliability and the cost of operation. My only problem is the software that comes with it. I have multiple brother printers and when one stops working it is usually a network problem. The tools from one installation it seems do not work on other models which makes troubleshooting a hassle. It doesn't happen often but sometimes a customer will mess the settings up and I'll end up having to remove the software and re-install just to fix it. For the little inconvenience, it is still worth staying with the brand.

Favorite printer!

This is the only color printer in our office, so 6 desks send color printing to one machine. Easy to set up and maintain. Plenty of warning when toner cartridges are getting low. This is the second one that we have had. Liked the first enough that we replaced it with the same model.

Best laser printer I've owned!!

I've owned laser printers from three other brand names and none of them lived up to how great this printer is. I have loved since the day I brought it home. The auto-duplexing feature is amazing! No more taking the page and putting it back in the paper tray! And, it's fast!! Even in full-color. I was shocked when I saw how fast it is. Finally, all you need to do is plug it in and let it find your WiFi network and give it the password and you're good to go. I can even print to it from my mobile phone! It's simply a really great printer.

Functional, Useful Printer for Both Small Business

I have had two of these printers and have been very pleased with the performance of both of them. I purchase the first unit to support a small business I owned at the time. It made my printing needs easy to complete and was cost effective. I purchased the second one when my original unit suffered damage during a move. The second one has continues to serve me well and I can certainly recommend it to anyone who has either moderate small business or personal color printing needs.

A very good color printer at a decent price

This printer does a good job on both color and monochrome prints, including photographs with the proper paper. It also does automatic double sided printing and handles pre-punched 3 hole paper well. The toner cartridges aren't really cheap but are economical considering the number of pages per cartridge.
