Must reboot printer every time I print

I've had this printer for 6 months. The printer has never stayed connected to Google Cloud Print for more than a couple days. I recently updated to the latest firmware hoping to solve the problem. Now, the printer goes "offline" in both Windows and Google Cloud Print after just 24 hours. I have to reboot the printer every day I want to print.
This printer just adds more stress to my life. I've tried assigning a static IP. I've updated the firmware. I've updated drivers.
In contrast, I also have a Brother HL-2270DW. It has always been rock solid and reliable.
I am so disappointed and frustrated with the HL-3170CDW.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Printer

I have been using the printer for several weeks now and so far it has worked beautifully. I am really impressed with the quality of photos. Of course it is not inkjet quality, but still very good in my opinion. I usually print them on 32 lb Hammermill paper for color laser/copier printing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the quality of the copies and the ease of use. I would have rated five stars if I hadn't encountered some trouble setting up the wi-fi.

Awesome Printer!

My last printer was a Brother, and it lasted for 12 years. And now this one is incredible, too. Definitely worth footing a couple of extra bucks for the color as opposed to the B&W laser printer. Very high quality printing, prints single-sided relatively quickly. Two sided takes a bit longer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Printer has been GREAT so far, We've only had it 2 months and have NO complaints. It replaced our old Monochrome B&W Brother Printer!
