Amp went out with limited use over 5 years. Over $100 to replace the amp only. Also, this is listed as 200W. That is max power, RMS is on 50. Not powerful at all. A normal 5.1 system will overpower this sub and make it useless. Spend a little more for something better with higher quality. It does look very nice, but don't let looks fool you. In my experience Polk has not stood behind their product. 3 issues and they did not fix the problem once without asking for ridiculous amounts of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought 2 of these to fill a 24x14 room.Knowing the room is quite large,made me decide to buy 2.Horrible Bass .I have a Klipsch 6.5 inch subwoofer for my media use and it blows both of the polks out of the water... I guess it's just to small of an amplifier.Looking to buy 2 more,and it wont be Polks. Probably Klipsch or JBL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

..WoW!! this one is GREAT!! I got psw110 today and hooked it up on the right side of my psw1000!! ..and would you believe me if i sad that it rocks out of the box?? IT IS TRUE!! this one is for real!!
it blends in with the rest of the system and it sounds beatifuly tight,deep and bigger than the sight of it!! its like a little psw1000..

This is an awesome subwoofer!!!!! I am just a kid and i got it for my birthday and wired the whole thing to all my speakers and my boom box this is bangin... this sub's kick is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
