Before I went to college I bought an HP. Now that I've graduated and know better, I bought this Epson. It's amazing. I love the ink situation - how you don't have to replace the whole ink cartridge, just because one color is super low. I save so much more money now!

downloaded drivers for Linux.
install then it works very well.
make sure to install both printer and scanner drivers.
this was on Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64 bit.

Well worth the price

My PC, my wife's laptop as well as my son's laptop all print wirelessly from one printer. As always, with all Epson printers, they're cost effective as you only replace the color cartridge you need. The compact size makes it convenient to place anywhere. Would definitely recommend this printer.

I purchased this unit and used it for a few months, for home use. It stopped working. It just made a funny squeeking sound. I called Epson, let the Tech hear what I was hearing and he said he would get a new one right out. Within a couple of days I received it, and have been using it for several months with no problems. It does a great job on photos, which is my main use. I scan old photos so I can 'renew' them a bit and print. I would highly recommend this unit.

After having an different brand All-In-One printer with an other computer I was ready to go back to Epson. The other printer was free so you can beat free as I missed Epson.
I see the quality difference in the scans and getting back the Epson ink was the best. Good color and water resistant. It's also faster processing and output of scans and copies.
The only thing I didn't like is the Epson is noisier than I used to in Epson printers. But I'm happy to be a Epson customer again.

Easy set-up

Really like the simplicity of this printer, just what I was looking for. Big pick-up tire with cork separation pad that will last a long time. Like the separate Y,M,C,K cartridges instead of the Y,C,M contained in one cartridge. Easy to set-up with great instructions. Image quality is actually good for such an inexpensive price. The only con after using a few days is, noisy gear noise picking up paper, but after pick-up it's fine, pretty quiet. Great printer, very pleased.
