For an inexpensive printer, I find it a great bargain. It was easy to install(though I do not know why USB cables are not included). Just started using it so I do not have a lot of experience yet but the reviews I have read where positive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, small all in one

Perfect for limited space in home use. The Wi Fi installation is confusing, but eventually I figured it out...not what the setup instructions say. This is my second XP410 and I like it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good basic printer

I bought this XP-410 to replace my old R-200.
Finding ink for the old one was a hassle and expensive. For the same price as a multi-pack of ink, I got this on sale. This model uses only 4 cartridges instead of the 6. Less trips to the store and cheaper, too.
Setting up the Wi-Fi network was easy. (you do need to have a printer-to-pc. usb cable)
I just set it up, so don't know about photos but test print-outs came out quick and clear, from both my pc. and lap-top. And the built-in scanner/copier is nice. All in all, this is a great printer for the price.

Set-up was not intuitive. The process should be reviewed and revised to make it simple, easy and faster.
Print quality is lighter on paper than what I see on the monitor of my Mac. It would be useful to have an easier way to address this issue. Using controls in iPhoto I was able to improve the print quality on paper without much difficulty.
The printer otherwise works quite well and it otherwise easy to use once it is set up. If I had the need to buy a second printer I would buy another one without second thought.
