Great Printer

I have had the oppotunity to use this printer extensively since its purchase . With the tax season upon us , I had to copy forms and booklets , for both federal and state . This printer performs incredibly well , copies are crisp and lettering is sharp , colors are vivid and it does all this quietly . I had other Epson Printers , but this one is the quietest of them all . Super buy for the money

Maybe it will and maybe it won't

for the 1st three months we had a reliable printer that used a lot of ink and scanned well and sometimes copied in black & white. After replacing many many black ink cartridges and cleaning printer heads as suggested after three months we have a printer that scans well, prints occasionally, never copies well, but still scans OK. It is totally unreliable. We have to clean heads and replace black ink before even attempting to print and then the odds are 60-40 against getting a decent print. Enough to make you want to chew your leg off !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Black won't print - only had printer 1 year

I've only had this printer right at a year. When the black ink was expended, I replaced it but it will no longer print in black. All other colors work fine. I googled and found several comments where people were all reporting the same issue and commented that this is a chronic problem with Epson printers or at least this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked until....

The printer worked for a little while. Replaced A LOT of ink! One day it started printing blanks. Blanks! Nothing would print. Followed all of the maintenance checks, which uses more ink. Today it finally printed with banding. I have a small business and unfortunately this printer just isn't cutting it. Good thing it wasn't very expensive. You get what you pay for.

Better for RV living

Well folks- for the past year I've been living in an RV with another brand all in one and it's been frustrating, to say the least. My son told me to purchase the Epson small in one after showing me all the ratings and reviews.
The set up was a breeze, the paper sat right into its slot without a catch, downloading the program onto my Mac was efficient and snap, I was done. Ran a test page and then another random selection from my I-phone, after installing the Epson App.
Thanks to Epson, this printer fits in a small environment but I don't have to give up my options.

Great printer, but watch the software!

This printer itself is great. Scans cleanly, prints clearly, is quite easy to operate. There needs to be an option to save wifi connections though. I am in a very mobile environment and you need to reenter the password, which is a bit tricky/cumbersome, each time you connect.
The thing to watch out for is the Epson software though. I went through 4GB of data in about 3 hours. I was told it was a virus on my computer, but it ends up it was processes running/installed from the Epson printer software. THIS can be a big issue for someone using a mobile modem. I uninstalled all updater and connection Epson software, keeping only the software necessary to run the printer. Everything seems okay now.

My Epson 410 is perfect for my needs. It was a surprise gift and replaced a printer that I was happy with. The added scanner and copy functions are great, no more running out to find a copy machine. The touch screen monitor is easy to use. Color is good, too.
Installing the printer took a few more steps than my other printer.
For seniors, like me, the instructions (for the wireless set up) could have been clearer or simplified.

I do not use the printer a lot but I have had difficulty in the past 3 weeks. It is eating up new ink cartridges and not printing complete pages. very disasppointed.
