easy to ue, practical printer

Bought this, my first Epson, XP-410, mostly due to its enticing price. I think the tradeoff is in purchasing ink. I have had my printer about 6 months. On my 3rd cartridge on most colors. I don't print all that much (about a ream of 400 sheets since purchase). Perhaps the heat of Florida has something to do with it or the product I purchased had been on store shelves for a while. Simple to use and I had to change routers yesterday and was able to uninstall and reinstall to new router with little effort. It automatically found my new wifi home network. So I am quite happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good printer, good bargain

It's been about three months since I purchased this printer (I was able to pick it up during a very good sale), and it's been excellent so far.
I don't use the printer every day, but three months into the purchase I've had the chance to use a few of its features -- (1) printing text; (2) printing color art images on high-quality art paper; (3) scanning documents; (4) copying documents.
All in all, it's a good, simple multi-purpose printer. Scanning was great, copying was great, printing normal text documents was acceptable (sometimes the type just doesn't come out "textbook-quality" crisp), and printing on art paper took a few tries to get it right (balancing color is very tricky, in general).
Aside from the actual printing functions, I can also report that the touch-screen user interface is very easy to understand and use, and the printer doesn't take up a whole lot of room, which is great.
If you're looking for a good bargain and don't plan to use this printer for high-volume work, I'd say this printer is a very good choice.

I bought this to replace an older Epson all-in-one. The previous model was a workhorse for the money, so I was hoping the same for this one. Smaller footprint, but so far does everything I need. No complaints and would definitely recommend this printer over other brands in its class.

Needed a small wifi printer that would print business and greeting cards plus. and small enough for my room/office. It was easy to install had it up and running in about 15 minutes or less. Couldn't be happier!

Easy as Pie

I am a recent Widow and my husband was the electronic genius in our house. I needed a new printer and I was so afraid i couldn't handle the set up. it took me all of 15 min to plug in till I was ready to print, there is a 4 minute wait for the printer to set itself up. There were no hard instructions to understand. I have a iPhone iPad and mac air and now I am so mobile. Thank you Epson for making a moment a little easier for me.

Noisy,sensitive touchscreen, no remote turn on

Pros: Makes very nice copies & nice small size. Cons: Very noisy, when it grabs the paper it actually throws it up in the air, throwing it out of alignment in the feeder. Touchpad activates, just by hovering your finger over it. When it's completely turned off, you cannot turn it on remotely when printing from your computer. Have had it 3 weeks and still cannot get the WiFi connection to work between printer and 1 out of 3 computers. Unfortunately, too late to return, so I'm stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this printer. It was inexpensive. It is compact, easy to operate, and makes excellent copies. The ink cartridges are not too expensive, and are easy to change.
