Excellent refrigerator

I've owned this model for over three weeks now, and am completely satisfied with its operation, and amazingly large size for a cabinet depth unit. Though it only is 21 cu.ft., it feels much larger. My previous fridge was 24 cu.ft., and this feels larger. It doesn't have through the door ice and water, but that convenience does hog a lot of space on the interior. Both interior doors on this three door are usable space. The freezer is more than adequate for storing frozen foods. Really quiet, and adds a lot of pizazz to the kitchen! Highly recommend.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this product because I wanted a counter depth standard size fridge that wouldn't break the bank. I love it. The LG is sleek, quiet and keeps things evenly chilled. Even milk cartons kept in the door shelves stay fresh for a long time! The open door alarm is a great feature, and the bottom freezer holds tons! I don't have a water dispenser, but I really love the extra space the french doors provide. It truly is a great value.

Nice refrigerator. Easy to reach items inside. Perfect fit in a smaller kitchen. The 21 cu.ft. size is about $400 more than 25 cu.ft. I was told that the smaller ones cost more to make...? Make sure the "cool air vents" in back of refrigerator are not blocked with food or you will have moisture problems

LG SS Refrigerator leaves somethings to be desired

Contents on lower shelf freeze when temp in refrig is at suggested setting. I have to set over 40 degrees! Stainless front dents easily with only a slight tap. Vegie drawers are very small, but this I expected. Very quiet operation and size was perfect for my space. A bit pricey for what it offers.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design
Cons: Features/Settings, freezes food on bottom shelf of refrigerator
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having two doors on top allows a greater view of the content of the fridge as well as having space for larger items. The freezer allows easy access both to ice and frozen food. Great Box.

I love this refrigerator! There is plenty of room for what I need and there are cubbies for everything. I don't quite understand the small bin in the middle but it is perfect for string cheese and or lemons, limes or garlic that tend to roll around. The freezer compartment is a good size and suits my needs. Looks great in my kitchen too!

Just love this refrigerator. I have a compact kitchen so with this counter depth and the sleek look, it looks great. The freezer drawer holds an amazing amount of food and it is easy to sort. The wide refrigerator section and adjustable shelves give great versatility. Would recommend LG to all.

My LG Refer Problems
on October 27, 2009

Worked OK for a few month until I got the ice make hooked up. The water valve leaked and the whole freezer unit got iced over and was froze shut. It took 3 days to thaw it out after I unplugged the unit. It then took another week for the repair part to arrive. It appears to be working OK now, but I lost a lot of food that I had in the freezer and was without a working refrigerator for 3 days. Very frustrating for a unit that cost as much as this one did.
