My printer says the cartridge is not genuine and it wont print anything.

There's a possibility that you got a defective cartridge that the printer is unable to recognize properly.

I received the right cartridge with a fresh expiration date for over a year from now. It came packaged in an overstuffed box, not an envelope. A Gr8 product, value, and over the top service.
