Been using this ink for about five years, always good quality and easy to replace. Changing printers this week, so will have a different number, but sure it will be same quality as I now have
I bought this about a year ago and when I installed it, and I tried aligning it 3 different times, it makes a double print!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
I'm sorry that you are having trouble with aligning the cartridge. That sounds frustrating!
Alignment is usually a printer problem, so you might try a different cartridge to see if it is really the cartridge at fault.
If this is a defective cartridge and not past the warranty ends date (found on the box and on the cartridge) you can contact us for support: hp.com/contactHP
700 pages is over a ream of paper! It would make 700 pages if only a period per page was printed!

Hi,
I'm sorry that you seem to be disappointed with the page yield. The estimates of pages printed are based on industry standards. How the cartridge will perform in real life situations will vary quite a bit.
Provided the cartridge is not damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos) will require more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
That said, I have a few tips that might help you with ink usage: - You can use the printer's draft mode and black-only settings, whenever possible, to save ink. - Shutting the printer down between uses can also help; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets the printer ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
When it seems that poor page yield is due to a defective cartridge (and it is still within the warranty end dates on the cartridge) you can reach us for support: hp.com/contactHP
HP 901 XL High Yield black ink cartridges are long lasting. Well worth the money for longer lasting toner cartridge. No worries about running out of toner. I much prefer to order direct rather than purchase from a store. Those cartridges seem to run out of toner quickly.
I needed replacement cartridges so I purchase H.P. . Why ???? , I tried the open them up and replace fluids what a mess didn't work well when I finished. I learned my lesson just buy the factory made H.P. replacements they work ,they last , they have a warranty .
