I nearly always seemed to have run out of ink in the middle of a lengthy critical report forcing me to halt printing, reload the cartridge and reprint a few pages. This was time consuming and frustrating. With the 901XL I have yet to have this problem and the number of suggested pages printed has so far been exceeded with each of the 901XL cartridges that I have used, it is a great value. I have been greatly pleased not only with the number printed pages per cartridge but also the quality of the finished product. GS
