For someone looking for just a small computer for Internet and email this is the perfect little device.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, it's wifi based so you can't do a lot wiithout
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is a good product , unfortunately , you can not use the product without an Internet connection .

I LOVE my Samsung Chromebook

After carrying around a bulky laptop for 6 years, this lightweight chromebook has been SUCH a nice change of pace. The size is perfect for traveling and the battery life is exceptional. It works at a lightning fast speed - even when I have multiple apps/tabs open! I am so impressed with the design and have no regrets about this purchase! Well done, Samsung!

For this price, and what it does it's a great buy
A lot of the schools in my area are switching to these computers, it's easy to use and reliable
Battery, screen and everything is good
Only thing I didn't like I there is no light for the keyboards but that's fine by me for the price of this!

At first I was a bit surprised at how small the laptop was, but it is not too bad. It is very stylish and gets the work done!

Great First Impression!

I bought this laptop to use on the go between where I live, work, and class. I chose this because it was light, had great battery life, and ran Chrome OS. I also noticed that Samsung did a refresh of its Chromebook 2, improving the strength of the chromebook chasis. This chromebook is sturdy. It is also very responsive. It is light. Its battery lasts longer than I do. The screen is bright enough to be used outside. I also love the faux leather detail on the lid. The feet also work very well.
Software wise, I was surprised that Chrome OS can do everything I need it to do from editing pictures, uploading files to websites, to taking notes. The keyboard feels natural, but I keep forgetting that there is no capslock button.
As for the flaws in this chromebook, I dont think there are any. People may argue that it could use a better screen, but fullhd screen does drain battery life faster. It also requires more computing power.
Conclusion: This has been a great first experience with a Samsung product. I highly recommend Chrome OS after using this Chromebook for about 2 weeks. This product really sets the bar for Chromebook design especially at the price I got it for. I definitely got more than I paid for. Also, in my eyes, the design is on par with a macbook air.

I LOVE it but the case is slippery. I worry about it slipping out of my hand. Needs a nonslip coating. Battery lasts a long time.

Perfect School Computer

I have had this computer for now over a week to supplement my bigger and heavier Samsung Series 7 17.3" Laptop and I have found this little guy to be well worth it. It flies through most tasks you're going to assign it to do with 4GB of Ram. I usually run a few apps at once and it doesn't even flinch. I am a senior in college and use this to take notes and track my schedule. It really is slick to not have to lug around my old computer. I recommend using Google Docs feature for those of you that want to be able to write notes/papers and convert them into Microsoft Word or PDFs later on a larger scale laptop. The laptop is a solid design and feels pretty rugged as far as hinges and poking the screen go (it's not a touch screen but I have poked it to get dust off the screen). The AirDroid App is awesome as you can work on your phone without actually needing to pull it out, perfect for trying to stay in touch with people or needing to stay awake in class. If your a youtube person this guy can pull up videos in a heartbeat with fast connections of course.
There are a few things that I have found that I don't exactly like but they are minor. The track pads clicking ability feels like I will break it if I push down much more then a brush, but I have learned to just use the tap feature to overcome that. Next a few of the apps in their store don't work with the machine. To give an example Pandora for me would download but then crash every time I tried to open it. Keep in mind this was the app not just regular Pandora off of the Internet which works just fine. Lastly the speakers do a good job but aren't in the best position in my opinion being on the bottom of the machine, however if your looking for something to be a stand alone DJ system why would you look into a Chromebook? The speakers will do just fine for most peoples needs such as studying or background noise. Other then those three issues this Chromebook is quite the machine for what it can do.
