Great School Computer

My school recently switched laptops over to the new chromebooks. They are great for school: they automatically save all of your docs (word), slides (powerpoint), and sheets (excel). One problem is that they are pretty big and sorta heavy, definitely not something a student would want to lug around in your backpack. The Samsung Chromebook is the perfect companion. It is really light (it is tons lighter than the books I have to carry around,) and small, which makes it portable. It is not so small that it takes away from the screen or keyboard space like other laptops, but makes the most of its space. It has a really neat overall appearance, you can tell it is a high quality laptop, and it is simple to use, but has plenty of personalization. It also has an anti-glare screen, making it perfect for studying outside or finishing a paper at the beach.
Downsides to the laptop aren't to the laptop itself, but to its operating system. I dislike how you aren't able to download apps. I understand it is completely internet based, which is great, but once in a while I would like to download something. One downside to the laptop itself is that the charger is flimsy, and feels cheap.
All in all though, I would highly recommend you purchase this laptop if you are thinking about it. It is well worth it.

If you're NOT in need of a full-blown laptop and are using the device as an enhanced tablet with many more features, it is an outstanding value. The OS is adding more apps daily and there are all manners of temporary "workarounds" available on YouTube or forums. It auto updates the OS, every time you log-in via Wi-Fi.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, very long battery life, tethers to my iphone 6+ and galaxy note

Great basic laptop

It fills all my intended purposes for school. Speed is plus, no problems watching Netflix and using other similar sites. But, I will note I was confused and a later a little disappointed about the fact when typing up a paper g docs is the only option but it can easily convert to Word just can't can't create on Word.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: tricky to differentiate/locate apps/extensions

I love the Samsung Chromebook II! There are still so many things I haven't learned. My first review was deleted so you're not gonna hear everything I feel about this product. I hate retyping everything. However, I love the apps and I love the storage cloud.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, fun, lots of apps that are also android apps, storage cloud
Cons: a little pricey

Purchased my second Samsung Chromebook

I purchased my second Chromebook in June '15 because of the ease of use. It is small, lightweight, has good battery life, I chose Chromebook because I was very satisfied with my first. I like the OS that is simple to use. I am well pleased with my Chromebook.

Wow I am really impressed with this little chromebook does everything I could ask for. Best money I ever spent makes me want to toss all my laptops just because of the boot time and battery life.

I don't have a problem with chromebook. I just wished the printer was able to connect through bluetooth.
