So quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher last month and have not regretted it for one second! Very efficient and so quiet - we love it. My husband has a bit of OCD and is especially fascinated by the third rack for the silverware.

Looks good and is very quite

We did some research and decided to go with this model because of the third rack, overall look, and the quite rating. This is located close to our living room. We can not even hear it running. It was installed yesterday and we have washed to loads of dishes. So far we love it!

Very quiet and does a good job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall seems to be a very good dishwasher and you can barely tell that it is running. Only the countdown timer on the panel lets you know it is running. When the cycle is complete, the panel stays lit up but there is an option to turn the machine off when it is done. Nice feature but the problem with this is that there is no longer an indication that the dishes in the dishwasher are clean. A better feature would be to turn off most of the panel (countdown timer) and leave the one small light indication clean dishes. The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired since it is written for all Bosch dishwashers and it is hard to tell which features apply to your machine. Changing settings is a bit cryptic and not intuitive; you need the manual in hand. You need to get into programming mode on the panel and each feature has "codes" that are not at all descriptive. Also it does not provide enough information on what is the purpose of some of the features. Despite those observations, it does a really nice job on the dishes.

Mostly Excellent but one flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love everything about this dishwasher, especially the extremely quiet operation. Plenty of places and adjusting racks to handle nearly everything we throw at it. Nice to have a filter in the bottom. The ONLY thing we would like to see changed is that plastic ware remains wet and literally drips. Everything else is nice and clean and dry. Also do not like how the inside walls and door remain dripping wet when done. I shouldn't have to wipe that down, yet I am fearful of mold building up if I don't. So there's extra work on plastic bowls and plastic ware along with wiping down the wet door. It gets everything scrupulously clean. So it won't get an "excellent" from us, but we love everything else about it. It is still new so it is possible as we experiment with different settings we might find one that DOES get the plastic stuff dry. Haven't found it yet, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with a Bosch appliance and so far I am very satisfied.
I love the third rack for silverware and they get clean no matter which way they get put in. It is also great for measuring cups and spatulas too. The adjustable middle rack is perfect for fitting storage containers and larger bowls after adjusting it to the lowest setting. The bottom rack is great for plates, storage container lids, pitchers, and cutting boards.
This dishwasher is very quiet and the countdown timer lets you know where you are in the cycle. Options for washing are plentiful and I am still experimenting with them. Everything comes out clean and even though there is a filter which they say you have to clean from time to time, I have yet to find anything in it. We rinse loose items off of the dishes and containers but in no way do we scrub them before putting them in the dishwasher. The dishes are a little damp when you open the door but we are in the habit of leaving the door open 1/4 of the way and letting them air dry. We have been doing this for years since melting a few items from other dishwashers with a drying element. If you are in a hurry to put the dishes away a light drying with a towel also works.
Installation was straightforward and I purchased the optional Bosch power cord with a plug since I already had an outlet under the sink. The included wiring box would be great if you had to hardwire the dishwasher. The leveling legs were easy to use and the ability to level the rear legs from the front without repeatedly pulling out the dishwasher is a very well thought out feature. The power, water supply and drain hoses are more than long enough to reach under the sink whether mounted on the left or the right of the sink.
Only time will tell how this dishwasher will perform over the long haul but I checked on parts availability to make my own repairs and I find that parts are widely available on the internet.
I would recommend this dishwasher to my friends.

Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the dishwasher two weeks ago. My two year old Samsung dishwasher died...repairman told me to just replace the unit because of the cost to fix it. Too much $$$.
I am NOT much of a handyman however the installation went smooth and without any problems. I have used the dishwasher several times and I am quite impressed...very quiet and the dishes are clean.

Best DW out of the 6 I've owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Based on CR's MFG reliability I went with this DW even thought the KA ranked higher. We were replacing a KA and I would never buy one again. Just keep the rinse aid filled and use sanitize or set for better drying (see instr) and it will do an awesome job of cleaning. Ignore the reviews about drying-my KA with a heating element did NOT dry as well as the Bosch does. The 3rd rack and adjustable middle rack allows for it hold a ton of dishes and serving platters with no problem.
