Bosch meets expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is easily as quiet as advertised. Dishes are sparkling clean and dry. The features for "tuning" the cleaning cycle are very helpful for different events. The styling fits perfectly into the new kitchen renovation and looks fantastic.

So quiet it has a light to indicate it's on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for about 6 months now, and so far so good. The machine in invitingly quiet with a great upper level third pull out tray for utensils and smaller items. The placement of some of the tines in the main loading trays are positioned in such a way that my bowls and larger items don't fit well, and consequently I cannot load as many items into this dishwasher as the one it replaced. Not a game changer, but I like to pack my machine plenty full before running. Cleaning has been acceptable, but I do rinse my dishes as the machine can sit idle for a few days between loads. Don't miss the heated drying at all as I had it turned off on my old machine. All in all we are happy with this dishwasher, and if it lasts longer than the last one we had, a Kenmore Elite that lasted a mere 7 years, we will be pleased.

Great Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 800 Series, we installed it Nov 2015 and love it.
Design: I installed it myself and was impressed with the level of detail in the Instruction Manual. Fairly straight forward overall and everything you need is included by Bosch. Not sure why Bosch uses an interconnect wiring block rather than providing a standard plug on the cord. Probably to make the kit more universal. They also provide simple items like a cord hanger to assist you while making the attachments. Cords and hoses installed snugly and the design provided optimal routing locations to prevent kinks.
Features: The 3rd rack is getting a lot of use. Everything from spatulas, silverware, flat plates etc.. The middle rack adjusts easily and can even tilt if you want 1 side higher than the other. We can fit many more dishes in it compared to our 14 year old Whirlpool. The lower rack slides out easily without the typical "bump" as you glide over the lower part of the door, i.e, the door and internal rack guides alignment well. The capacitive touch-control buttons look nice, but require a deliberate touch to activate. After a month or so we were able to activate it easily.
Drying: as others have mentioned, don't expect the dishes to be dry immediately after running it. We run it in around 8PM and dishes are pretty dry by 7AM except for the usual puddles in cups and other items that collect water.
Appearance: the stainless steel finish looks great, and we chose the exposed handle version which can be used for hand towel. A red LED shines on the floor to let you know it is running. Good feature, because it is so quiet you may not know it is running.
This was our first Bosch product and we now have the 800 Series Combo Oven on order too. Let's hope the Bosch reliability matches their attention to detail in the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE IT! Read all the reviews prior to purchasing and this dishwasher did not disappoint. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. So quiet I need to check the indicator light to make sure its on. Dishes are spotless. Love the third rack for utensils and the adjustable racks for fitting pans on the lower rack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Bosch stainless steel, 3 rack dishwasher with hidden controls and handle bar in June 2015 for our previous home in Ohio. It replaced an old broken dishwasher and was part of our kitchen remodel. We loved this dishwasher so much that when we moved to Wisconsin for my husband's new job we bought the same exact model again in February 2016. It is so quiet and cleans the dishes very well. I always run it at night because it is best not to open the door for several hours after running so that the water inside has time to evaporate. If you open the door too soon there will be water inside on the stainless steel interior and possibly on your dishes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
