Wonderfully Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First load of dishes - had to check to see if the dishwasher was running; so much better than the less than three old dishwasher that we replaced in terms of drying plastics, cleanliness and so many other features.

Best Upgrade Ever

After a lot of research we decided to give this bosch dishwasher a shot and we couldn't be any happier. Our dishes come out even cleaner and it is A LOT quieter than our old one. If it wasn't for the light on the floor, I wouldn't even know it was running! Great dishwasher! Thanks Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It runs very quite. The trays feel very sturdy. It cleans perfectly every time. Nice low profile door. We like the soft touch buttons as well. The third tray for silverware is really nice.

Quietest, Most Powerful Dishwasher There Is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought I'd be writing a review of an appliance. It took me over two weeks to research this purchase including enlisting the help of a friend who has a subscription to Consumer Reports. I even talked to an appliance repair tech who told me - hands down - "Buy a Bosch 800 series. I own one. And I hardly ever need to repair one." After reading everything I could find on the 800 series, I decided on this model because it was highly rated for cleaning even the worst soiled dishes, with dried, caked-on food and for its quietness in doing so. We have not been disappointed at all. The dishwasher was loaded in the extreme after Thanksgiving and everything, including all the silverware, was clean and sparkling. You can barely hear this thing standing right next to it when it is in the middle of a wash cycle. Just an absolutely great product. The only thing I'd ask them to redesign or make stronger is the strap to route the hoses and the power cord on the left or right of the back of the dishwasher but that's not a reason to mark the rating down. Buy this dishwasher for its cleaning power and next-to-silent operation. You won't be disappointed. This is the kind of top-notch product you expect from German engineering. You'll love it.

Love this dishwasher

Awesome Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this brand after reading other customer reviews. I did take into consideration the following statements that were important to me; Dishwasher does not wash well, Dishwasher does not dry well and Dishwasher is not design well.
This is my experience with the areas listed above:

It washes excellently - if you load it correctly and do not expect it to wash dishes that should be hand washed like a small neck thermos.

Again if you load it correctly it dries the both my regular dishes and name brand plastic food storage container well. It does not dry the cheap plastic food storage lids and containers well....it's hit or miss even if loaded correctly. I can live with this as I unload my dishwasher after each use. For me it was not deal breaker.

hmmmm...for me would have liked the bottom basket to have similar spacing to the top basket. But again the dishwasher I purchased notifies me that it can wash up to a 16 place setting. I recognized the bottom rack spacing caters to plates with consideration of some pans because you have ability to fold down a section of the basket.

The reason I rated the dish washer 4 stars was because you open the dishwasher for the first time you get hit with a smell of stale water. It's pungent and almost knocks you to the ground. If this is your 1st dishwasher purchase and no one from the store warns you that most dishwashers are tested at the factory and may be wet inside upon initial opening. I took my first dishwasher back because I was not notified by the store or the dishwasher packaging that I could see. In addition there was mold on the paper work that further my concern. It wasn't till call BOSCH that I was educated. I would like to suggest to BOSCH to include an eye catching flyer with big bold lettering insiders the dishwasher notifying the first time buyer. That is normal and that you test the product before leaves the plant.
Outside of this issue I think the dishwasher is great!
