Worth the price!

My house is 12 years old and the builders grade dishwasher that came with the house finally gave up the ghost. After a lot of research this model, actually manufactured in Germany, came highly recommended. I was leery of spending that much on a dishwasher but I have to say I'm very impressed with it. One of the big marketing points is how quite it is and I have to say the dishwasher is amazingly quiet. You can barely hear it from a few feet away. The red LED light is not just a gimmick, you need it to know if the machine is on. The 3 racks really take advantage of the space and allow for a tremendous amount of dishes to be placed in the machine. As a test I fully loaded the Bosch with dishes that were not rinsed off and some of the dishes had dried on food. We used the normal cycle with the sanitizing turned on. When we removed the dishes from the washer I was very impressed as every single dish was spotless, even the glasses. We do use the recommended Finish Dry and think it is necessary given the way the washer dries the dishes but that's a very small cost. While this was more than I wanted to spend on a dishwasher I definitely feel this was worth the price and doubt there is a better dishwasher at this price point.

It leaked on the first day

It leaked on the first day, but it doesn't leak anymore. Had Kitchen aid for 40 years. Hope this one lasts that long

Unbelievable cleaning

My dishwasher was installed this morning. Since my old one wasn't completing whole cycles, I put every dish, cup, and silverware in and ran a full load to ensure my dishes got clean. I was totally amazed at how the dishes were not only extremely hot, but dry as well. My silverware had never been that clean.
I would strongly recommend this appliance to anyone wanting clean dishes.
The dishwasher is so quiet, I was unsure the entire time if the machine was running or not. Love it.

Bosch is the only dishwasher I will buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Bosch dishwasher I have owned. I really love the ability to put top rack items anywhere in the dishwasher. I also really like how quiet the Bosch dishwashers are. The volume is the reason we looked into them in the first place.
I scrap my dishes before going into the dishwasher so a food grinder is not a function I need.
I really like the third rack for silverware or other low profile items.

Wow! Is this quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher delivers on its promises. It is so very quiet we wonder if its on or not. The dishes sparkle and silverware gets clean. The third shelf works great for long handled spoons and knives. I really like that I don't have to pre-wash everything even though I only run it every 3-4 days. The only thing I would like is if it would signal when the dry cycle is on so I could open the door in the summer time.

Worst dishwasher

Worst dishwasher I have ever bought. Takes two and a half hours to throw food inside my glasses and allover the back of my bowls. It is quiet though.

Quitest Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher based on what out daughter said about how good it was and how quiet it was! I have only used it once but it is unbelievable how quiet it is, I didn't know it was on until I saw the light on the floor. I have installed dishwashers before and I have to say this was the easiest installation I have experianced.
