Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this to replace a machine that was completely unusable. We made the decision to buy this machine over any of the others based on all the great reviews it received! This machine has features that I think every machine should have. The prongs on the bottom and the top shelves fold down to allow for larger dishes. The third shelf is perfect for straws, lids, etc. I appreciate that the top shelf moves up or down to allow for more space when needed on the bottom shelf or top shelf. The machine operates very quietly which is ideal with small children in the house, napping during the day. This machine would be absolutely perfect if the silverware holder was dividable into three or more parts. Also, don't use without Rinse Aid; the dishes come out soapy tasting. Blech! There is no option for "air dry" on/off. The settings panel was confusing to me, at first but I mostly use Auto so it works. Overall, I never want to be without this machine!! I do not believe that I will ever regret this purchase.

Quiet, But Does Not Dry Dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is quiet, yes. However, it does not dry the dishes. The fact that Bosch expects us to stand by so we can open the door to let out the steam when the wash cycle is over is a real joke. Very disappointing appliance.

Spotless and quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bosch was recommended by a repair person who was fixing my 1 year old fridgedaire dishwasher. Shortly after that I purchased my new Bosch when we remodeled our kitchen, even though our current one was only a year or so old. So happy we did. He was spot on! And speaking of spots... there are none! There is no heating coil and after the cycle is complete it steam dries. Really fantastic, solid product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Top arm no longer spinning at all

The top arm no longer spins at all, and this dishwasher is only a couple of years old in a household of just two adults with light use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is is very quiet. I had some trouble decivering how to operate it. The touch panel over the on off switch has worn off so if not familiar with the appliance it is had to work.

Quiet

It was quiet but as time goes on it gets noisier. I guess things loosen up. The handle broke after the first year and it wasn't covered under warranty. It was also very expensive to replace so I zip-tied it together. We're in our 6th year with this machine and now it has no power. (Outlet has power. I checked.) I thought I was buying a great dishwasher. Looking back, I should've bought the extended warranty.

Should have bought something else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for 11 months. On the positive side it is quiet. There are several things that we do not like: 1) We have to hand dry some of the dishes, 2) We have had to replace the plastic control panel as the printing wore off, and the control panel is difficult to use - you have to press hard on the plastic 3) Silverware in the top tray does not get clean unless it is pre-rinsed and 4) We do not like the configuration of the lower rack as it is difficult to load pots, pans and bowls. Overall we are disappointed in this dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
