Quiet

It was quiet but as time goes on it gets noisier. I guess things loosen up. The handle broke after the first year and it wasn't covered under warranty. It was also very expensive to replace so I zip-tied it together. We're in our 6th year with this machine and now it has no power. (Outlet has power. I checked.) I thought I was buying a great dishwasher. Looking back, I should've bought the extended warranty.

Best dishwasher !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a cleaning person working in New York city i have 16 places where I'm working every week!My client has different dishwasher and i have difficult time sometimes because the dishes didn't get clean or wet when is the circle is done!My one of client buy the new BOSCH dishwasher (not the very expensive!!)and after first used was surprise me because she newer rinse the dishes before load the machine!
I was state the machine express was 30-40 min the dishes completely clean and dry!!!I was recommend for my another client and she buy BOSCH !!!Im so HAPPY my job is easier!!!!And this Christmas is a gift for me from my boyfriend BOSCH dishwasher !!!!I love it!!

RESIDUE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this unit for around two years. We have tried many detergents, as well as using jet dry, but have consistently had residue on our dishes. The residue is often soapy, including soap granules, so we frequently have to send dishes through an additional rinse. The soap retainer does not always open during washing, so we sometimes have to wash things twice for that reason as well. Also, we often have food residue on our plates even after having pre-rinsed them in the sink before loading the washer. This is despite the fact that we use the 2hr10min wash setting. There have been a number of times that the washer has unintentionally turned itself on when we have closed the door, washing a few dishes before we realized it had started itself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not dry at all

I really can't understand the positive reviews for this machine. Is it quiet? Yes. Does it clean the dishes adequately? I would say yes (as far as dishwasher go). Does it dry the dishes? Not at all. They are absolutely sopping wet. I have to take them (especially anything plastic...and as a mom of a toddler, I have to wash things that are plastic) and put them on towels and drying racks after they come out of the dishwasher. I have put the "extra dry" setting on (Which, by the way, is unnecessarily complicated. My last machine just had a "heated dry" button) and I tried the sanitize feature as well because (according to the manual) it is supposed to help with drying. It does not. I'm so disappointed that we spent the money on this machine. My old dishwasher was louder, and had a longer cycle time, but at least I could take the dishes out and put them directly in the cupboard. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Rinse aid light comes on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this "thing" on 30 January 2014. Initially after owning it for a couple of months the rinse aid container leaked, now the add rinse aid light comes on every week or so, but they do come out to work on it, six times so far but once the "new board" comes in they will be back and that should fix it. I am not holding my breath. Without all of these problems it could be a decent dishwasher

Noiseless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost 20 years ago a fellow Mom friend with kids got a Bosch dishwasher. I lusted after it like a DIYer in the hardware store's tool aisles, yet knew my husband thought it unnecessary and too expensive for us. We sallied forth with meals aplenty cooked and dirty dishes abounding, only running the dishwasher upon going to bed because it disrupted conversation in our small house with its rhythmic swabbing. When emptying it, we'd rewash silverware that hadn't come clean.
Lo and behold, the man had a revelation when visiting both his Mother and sister. They pointed out to him that the only way he could know for sure their new, silent Bosch dishwashers were running, was the red light aglow on the floor. So, we ended up getting the same model which washes every piece bright and spotless, even on the Eco cycle, serenely. And, my friend's Bosch (almost 20 years old) is still running superbly - a great investment in quality!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet and Cleans Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Bosch not quite a month ago after cursing our last dishwasher from another manufacturer. What did we want? We wanted one that not only cleaned our dishes, but was quiet and easy to use. Bingo. We also like the little extra touches, like the small red light shining onto the floor to show you it's in operation. Overall, very pleased so far.
