racks are terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband did an enormous amount of research prior to this major purchase. However, once we received this dishwasher, it is the most impractical one we have ever had. The 3rd rack is useless as trying to keep it in the dishwasher does not alow enough room on the 2nd rack to wash our wine and beer glasses. The bottom rack is not practical as it is meant for tons of small dishes. We have Pfaltzgraff dishes that we use every day and there is not enough room for the large plates and then the small plates. We can fit the small plates on the left side but then not on the right side as the silverware basket takes up that space. It is nice to have the light at the bottom indicating "in use" but there is no light to indicate the dishwasher is complete, so hence my family opens the door and uts in dirty dishes with the clean ones. The dishwasher does clean fairly well and is fairly quiet. We purchsd this about 2 wks ago and I am very unhappy with the large expense made and now we are stuck having to live with a dishwasher that is not practical for our family's usage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Bosch dishwasher; after my first Bosch gave excellent performance for 15 years, I did not hesitate to purchase another, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. The machine is whisper quiet, and efficiently cleans and dries the dishes. I actually can load more dishes into this model than the previous one. I have learned that with great engineering comes a responsibility on the operator's part to read the manual and follow the instructions prior to using it. By doing so, one can avoid the complaints voiced in some reviews. I have not encountered any problems using the controls, nor have I experienced any negative results after the cycle has been completed. I installed the new dishwasher by myself; installation was fairly easy, requiring about two hours. The model did come with a power supply cord , so I did not have to purchase one separately. Based upon personal experience and without any reservations, I would highly recommend a Bosch Dishwasher.

It makes me Angry when I open it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for 2 months, right away I though I would just have to deal with all the water dripping off the inside of the machine and my dishes full of water like on top of cups and bowls, its always wet all over inside and my stainless steel knifes and silverware are getting rust spots. I have to dry dishes when I take them out. I wanted to love this dishwasher as it is so quite you dont know it is on, washes very well. But I feel angry every time I open it and wish I had not bought it and gone with the other brand I was really wanting.

Disappointed with Bosch Disdwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My rinse aid dispenser leaks on my new dishwasher. I have to wait 2 weeks for the part o be shipped to the repair service.
I don't like the big protuding black bar to open and close the door. It gets in the way all the time as I bunmp into it all the time.

I think the racks were designed very unsturdy and will probably be the first thing to break.
.I do like the customer service contact number as the people there are very helpfull.

Nice, but has issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is easy to load as well as quiet and dependable: the dishes are the cleanest I've ever seen coming out of a dishwasher. On top of that there is always a pleasant odor emanating from the machine after the wash cycle is complete.
