Dishes so Clean

Best dishwasher ever!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kudos to the Bosch engineers and manufacturing team for bringing a truly excellent dishwasher to market. I have had a few of the competitors machines over the years and, while they were good products, the Bosch is clearly a cut above.
From the minute I unpacked the unit, I could tell that this was a much more robust design that my previous dishwashers. The packaging was really nice in that it included wood bracing for added strength.
Installation was a breeze due to the excellent instructions and included hardware. It even includes side front mounts for securing the unit to your cabinetry so you do not have to worry when your kitchen has a stone countertop. I had my plumber to the final install as I am not as comfortable with plumbing skills. It took him very little time before it was operational and washing dishes. Noteworthy is the leveling system. All can be done from the front including the height in the rear from a screw in the front base.
As for the operation, it does what a dishwasher should do, wash dishes and it does so remarkably well. Easy to load and program, no spots and super clean...what more could you ask for?? Oh yes, it is so quiet that there is a red light that shines down in the front right corner to tell you it s running! Most of the time, it is virtually inaudible.
I will never buy another brand dishwasher other than Bosch and will highly recommend that my friends and relatives do the same.
I am in dishwasher heaven thanks to Bosch!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dishwasher about 6 months ago after doing a lot of research and a lot of comparing to others. My neighbor has a Bosch and can't say enough good things about it. Even so, I did my homework. Read many, many (not all) reviews and thought, "well, there'll be good reviews and bad ones. But, there are overwhelmingly more good reviews than bad". So, we bit the bullet and spent the extra money. Jury is still out on whether or not it was a good purchase. I absolutely LOVE how quiet it is & LOVE the red indicator light letting you know it's running. I LOVE the tight seal & 3rd rack, but, HATE that my dishes (especially the 3rd rack) come out wet. I'd say about 1/4 of my silverware does NOT come clean. Also, there's a REAL BAD funk-o-rama (ODOR) that's just about equivalent to a rotting body (not that I really know what that smells like, but, can only imagine) after 98% of loads. I have to leave the door ajar about 2 inches for a few hours to get rid of it. I thought it was just me until I saw another review or 2 about the same issue. I even thought that maybe there is food trapped in the basket at the very bottom that you can take out and rinse. That wasn't it. Still not sure what it is. Have someone coming over to look at the connector hose to see if maybe there's a kink and food is trapped in there. I also HATE the load design. It's borderline ridiculous. I agree with another reviewer who said "good luck trying to get a wine glass anywhere inside this dishwasher!" It's virtually impossible. Every single dishwasher I have ever owned ranging from cheapo builder special to upgraded have had good to great load design. This one is idiotic. There is usually a big empty space with no dishes on every load. For someone like me who is borderline OCD and who needs to fill up every inch of space before I run the dishwasher, that drives me absolutely crazy!!! But, hey, I can't expect Bosch to cure me of my OCD :-)))) With all this being said, I can't honestly say I'd buy another Bosch dishwasher or recommend Bosch. Yes, there are features that I LOVE about it and features that I HATE about it, but, the features I HATE seem to trump the features that I LOVE since those features are more important to me than the fluff features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The racks

Super Quiet Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had this dishwasher installed yesterday, and I cannot believe how quiet it is. The installer opened it to show me the water spraying to prove to me it was working. It is beautiful, no knobs, no gadgets, very clean in appearance. Simple to us, and I love the 3rd utensil drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher about 18 mo's ago. We got the "E 09" error message yesterday. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you may find out for yourself soon enough. While it worked it was whisper quiet, but 18 mo's for a product at this price level is poor. I was skeptical about the electronics when we purchased it. Should have paid attention to my gut on that one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Bosch Dishwasher last year and it was installed 12/15/15. I absolutely love it. Not only does it hold a lot of dishes, they come out sparkling clean! Very happy with this dishwasher. It is very quiet while running!.
