We love our new Bosch.

This is the 3rd Bosch dishwasher we have had in our 41 years of marriage. Thank goodness there is a red light shining on the floor when it is on. Standing right in front of it, we can not hear it running.

Dishwasher still stinks after one year!!!!!!

I've had this dishwasher for over one year and it still stinks horribly inside. This is not a new issue with Bosch either. There are websites dedicated to this problem and Bosch will not do anything about it. I've done every possible thing they have recommended as well as others from properly hanging the drainage line in back, to using magic rinse, to cycling vinegar thru it, to keeping door cracked, etc.. Suppose to be something with the rubber seal for noise dampening that is probably causing it. I would even get the newest model that came out right after we bought ours, if i knew that wouldn't stink either. I love how quiet it is and cleans wonderfully but cannot bear the smell anymore. Going to use the appliance lemon law here in CA and my legal team if necessary to get this resolved. Very unhappy with this wretched smell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For any smell, you can try running a vinegar wash: Run an empty cycle, except for a cereal bowl on the upper rack, upright. Inside the bowl, you're going to put 8oz of white distilled vinegar and run the AUTO cycle. Once the cycle finishes, the smell should go away. Large capacity, efficient and quiet

I run this dishwasher when I run out of dishes even if it is not fully loaded. Initially,I had to consult the loading guide for placement recommendations…many options available. It is quiet and very efficient . If the cups and glasses are loaded on a slight slant, they come out dry. I love the red light on the floor reminding me that it is running. So far, I love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing -- best dishwasher I have owned

I bought this dishwasher in September and am still amazed at how everything about it is so perfect. The dishes come out cleaner, and this is on the half-load selection, it is so quiet you need the little red light to see that it is running and the dishes are dry, even without a heating element. The third level rack is so nice for those large serving spoons, etc that don't fit very well in the silverware basket. The configuration of the other racks are very well thought out. I don't have anything I would change or recommend that Bosch change. I am so glad we purchased this as a replacement for an old one that finally died. Buy with confidence, use with pleasure.
