Nice Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to replace my 500 series dishwasher (which I loved), and purchased an 800 Series. It's a very nice dishwasher and does a great job of cleaning the dishes, but I will say that I'm not a big fan of the 3rd rack ~ to me, it's wasted space. When placing a basic coffee travel mug in the 2nd rack, the rack won't "close", as it hits the top rack. I've decided to remove the 3rd rack.

Best dishwasher I have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dishwasher a month ago, to replace an aging unit of another brand. I saw a Bosch being demonstrated at a local department store, and asked the salesman to start the dishwasher so I could hear it run. The salesman said: "It is running!" I could not hear any sound coming from that machine. I was impressed. After my dishwasher was delivered and expertly installed, we loaded and ran our new Bosch, using all 3 racks, and were delighted with the resulting sparkling dishes and glassware. Even pots and pans, dinnerware and cooking utensils were clean and shining. Again, we were impressed, and happy about the choice we made.

Wish I had bought this 3 years ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After needing a 3rd dishwasher in 8 years we decided to buy Bosch. The 3rd rack is awesome for silverware. Easy to unload. You do not have to worry about spoons sticking together and not getting clean. It is very clean and no spots. We use a lot of bowls and have to figure out how to load most efficiently but we are happy with the results and the touch control panel. It needs a very light touch which is something I had to get used to rather than a push button. I know people complained of not drying really good but we never used that feature on our other dishwasher. It is not a big deal. Most of the dishes are plenty dry especially if you open it to cool down before unloading. It is so quiet we were unsure if it was actually running the first time we tried it out.

Extremely happy with this dishwasher!

We have had this dishwasher for over two years now and have had a great experience with it. There haven't been any issues with it so far- it cleans well and is very quiet. We run it 8-10 times a week and always use the sanitize option so dishes come out mostly dry. My advise to anyone looking for a dishwasher is to buy Bosch and stay away from brands whose names start with K, W, M or S.

Little Problems Add Up

I have had this appliance almost a year, and I have not been happy with it since the beginning. Tried to return it, but I was a few days after the 30-60 day return policy (Can't remember that far back). Now, the print is coming off of the dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and efficient

I purchased this dishwasher to replace a 6 year old Bosch that was in our home when we moved two years ago. We already liked the quiet operating level of the older model and this one is even more amazing. I'm glad I selected this upgrade model.

Extremely Quiet

We purchased this machine in Februay of this year. Besides being beautiful and adding to the appearance of the kitchen we are shocked at how quiet this machine is. All other dishwashers that we have had in the past have had noise levels that would make you leave the room. In fact the family room is adjacent the kitchen and we would alway delay the start of the dishwasher if we were going to watch television after a meal. This meant that the dishwasher had to be emptied in the morning when we are in a hurry to get out to work. We can run this dishwasher anytime, immediately after dinner so dishes can be put away before turning in for the night. We love it!

Works about 2/3 of the time

We've had this one for two years. I read the operating manual carefully, I pack according to instructions, I clean out the trap regularly - nasty and insanitary gadget - and no matter how careful we are, it does not rinse clean. One load in three finishes with debris on everything, soapy water in the bottom which has to be dipped out, and soap still on all the dishes. I hate this device with a glowing purple passion. It's vile and I will never again choose an appliance from Bosch. It is a very quiet machine, which is no consolation whatsoever because it's no good for its purpose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
