Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned! It has a cool light that shines on the floor to show that it is turned on because it is so quiet when it runs that you barely even notice it. Cleans dishes great too.

smells like mildew

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read on-line that many people received bosch dishwashers smelling like mildew and thought mine would be different. boy was I wrong. Nothing gets the smell out. I believe a test cycle is run at the factory to check for leaks and then they seal the unit airtight shut with water in the lines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love that top rack!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is only the 3rd dishwasher I have had in 46 years and absolutely the best! It gets all the dishes clean. The arrangement of the tines was quite different so it took a while to learn how to best load it with my dishes. The upper rack for utensils is absolutely the best thing since sliced bread. I can pick up all my knives, forks and spoons in one sweep and place them in the drawer. It holds more than I ever imagined. The adjustable rack is great when you have lots of mid size items. I don't even use the optional silverware baskets that came with this dishwasher because the top shelf is so efficient. It holds much more than the baskets which just take up room. The only negative I have is that I was disappointed that there is no sanitary only cycle. I do a lot of canning and have to run a full cycle which takes way too long in order to get the option of sanitize. I also like the handle which allows me to hang a short towel to be readily available to wipe off the tops of the things which tend to hold water as well as the plastics.

The only inconvenient, if don't use it for couple of days and keep the door shut there's an unpleasant odor coming from inside. With the door ajar and some lemon or orange skin in it's okay

Great Dishwasher. I love the upper utensil rack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the dishwasher for about two weeks now. My wife was not sure on if she would use the upper utensil rack. We began using it and love the feature. We finally removed the bottom utensil caddy. We put the dishwasher to the test and didn't rinse off our dishes and they came out quite clean. The unit is very quite and if it wasn't for the red light that shines on the floor you would never know that it is on. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is since it does not have a heating element to dry the dishes it takes much longer for the cycle to finish. Over 2 hours. But the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry as long as you use the jet dry. The other thing is with the adjustable shelves it can wash about any size of dishes.

Really Clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a test on the first load, putting in dishes and frying pans that really had dried and burnt food on them. To my skeptical surprise, the dishes came out looking great. I followed the instructions and had no problem with the drying cycle. I still am getting used to where dishes can be placed. I have deep soup and cereal bowls, and they haven't found their place yet. However, I love using the third rack for silverware. I removed the traditional basket and now just use that top rack. All in all, this is a great dishwasher.
