Great product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first dishwasher and I was concerned about how clean the dishwasher would get my dishes. I'm very happy with the results. I've used it for 2 weeks at this point and had people visiting and it's very roomy and quiet. Loving it!!

Beautiful, Quiet, Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I had a rough early experience with my new Bosch dishwasher, the problem with a bad cup dispenser microchip (the soap dispenser failed to open properly during the wash cycle), turned out to be an easy fix and was covered under warranty. I was told by the experienced (older) Bosch certified repairman, that this was the first time he encountered this problem and said that it is a very rare occurrence.
For my model, the repairman advised me to use: Finish All-in-One with Power Ball, Cascade Complete Powder, or Target 7th Generation powder. When he saw that I had a large jug of Cascade Advanced Power liquid, he said that it would be fine to use. All the above have a built in rinse-aid.
Now that the cup dispenser is working fine, I love it. This dishwasher is at least 10 times better than my previous (14 year old Maytag) based on design, cleaning options, performance and quietness.
The wash cycle is so quiet, that if the television is on or if we are having lively conversation, I have to look at the discreet red On-indicator light on the floor beneath the door to see if the machine is on (otherwise, I can't tell). This is not a problem for me and I enjoy not having to be concerned about or distracted by the dishwasher once it is started.
The regular and auto wash cycles are long (about 2 hours), but because I remove all visible food from the dirty dishes using a wet small kitchen dishcloth, I can still get very clean dishes using the 40 min. Express Cycle -- saving energy and water.
The loading of my 3 tier dishwasher is so different from my previous one, that it is taking me longer to figure out the most efficient way to fill it when I have a large bowl or non typical shaped item, but it is getting easier with time. The sets of tines that can be turned down are a great feature as well as the upper versatile rack. When I need to remove the utensil basket for more useable space on the lower rack, I can put the utensils on the top tier. The top tier is great for large cooking utensils that used to be very awkward in the old dishwasher's utensil holder and for shorter/small dishes like 4 oz Pyrex bowls, tea bag holders, sushi wasabi/soy sauce China, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the load and go feel. And if it is easy for my, that makes it easy for my wife. Open the door, load the dishes( there is a place for everything) then, when ready, pop in the soap, press two buttons ( the display lets you know time to finish) then close the door and walk away. I haven't begun to run the variations of cleaning cycles.
I do have one concern, the noise. I can't hear a thing, there is NO MACHINE NOISE! except for the tiny red light by the floor, you hardly know it is running.

Quiet beyond belief !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can see why the red light is needed in operational mode! it is silent, especially with ambient noise. Cleans like a F5 tornado ! I traded up to the 800 series from the Ascenta and glad I did. As an Engineer I am impressed with the operational mechanics.

Awesome quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second new Bosch dishwasher. Its even quieter than our first and by the way cleans everything fantastically. I usually rinse some of the heavier food off before putting the plates into the machine but the second time I used the machine I purposely left all that stuck to the plate without rinsing. Everything came out totally clean. I am so impressed with the Bosch and so happy we discovered the Bosch appliances. I almost forgot the third rack. It is so nice to use for silverware. Placed individually each piece of silverware shines like its new.
