Pleasantly Surprised, Happy Wife - Happy Life...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months of my wife complaining that our 12 year old GE was not cleaning like it used to I decided to buy a new dishwasher. She was set on the Bosch based on the reviews and the experience of my brothers and their happy wives.
I just installed this over the weekend and am amazed at the attention to detail.
The unit is well protected in its packaging and alleviates the fears of damage during shipping and delivery.
This is the third dishwasher I have installed and this had to be the easiest. Bosch did a great job on the design of this unit and made installation oh so easy. The hoses are all attached including the water inlet (no more crawling under the unit trying to make the copper water inlet hookup) and have cable management loops in the rear corner to allow for a left or right side sink installation.
The other beauty of this unit is that the leveling of the unit can all be done from the front.
My only complaint would be that the power cord was not provided, it does have a breakout box for hard wired installs but not the plug for plugging it into the AC.
We have done a couple of loads and have been impressed with the cleaning.
The dishes were dry and the plastic items were in good shape to.
The third rack is great as now we have abandoned the super large silverware basket (would have preferred a split basket) in favor of the third rack. Removing the silver ware basket provided us lots of space for big bowls and etc on the bottom rack.
Oh and yeh the unit is super quiet, just wish we did not need to use an air gap in California as the noise from the water draining through the air gap is greater than the noise the unit makes while washing your dishes.
I was hesitant at first and was concerned about fitting our stuff and the cleaning power of this unit.
Needless to say we are pleasantly surprised and I would definitely recommend Bosch again.
BTW I am a product engineer at a major consumer electronics company and I have to say Bosch hit a homerun on this one.

Runs Quietly and Cleans Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago and I am pleased with how clean my dishes are. I'm also pleased with how quiet this machine is. It has a red light that shines on your floor to let you know that it is on. I have two kiddos and a dog that are fairly loud, so unlike my last dishwasher, sometimes I don't even know this is running except for the red light. I don't like how you have to load the dishes. They are at a really odd angle that makes it difficult to fill, which is why I only gave it four stars.

The electric car of dishwahers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so quiet that I check to see that it is running. Outside of its noiselessness, I love the ease with which the racks adjust and the third rack is very useful for my large utensils, serving pieces, or silver.

Quiet and Roomy but damaged

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first dishwasher was delivered and upon installation we found a large hole in the drain line afte rit leaked all over the floor. We had to have a second one delivered. its quiet, roomy, but a bit complicated to set the features and operate.

Neurotically researched models; this one wins!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own 3 businesses, so the last thing I had time for was a ton of research. But the myriad of models and brands forced me to do so. THRILLED by this one...the reviews didn't even list many of the features. EASY to start...easy to interrupt (to add "one more thing")...easy to see that it's working (SO quiet, only a tiny red light near the bottom shows it's on). For my first load, I packed a ton of "sort of scraped off" dishes just as a test...dang! Sparkling clean! I've never owned a Bosch dishwasher and this one simply blew my hair back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

VERY QUIET

The quiet!

It is ultra quiet compared to the one we had earlier. Getting used to the tray design which is little different. But, overall, it is very efficient.

Best dishwasher I've ever had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this washer for 2 weeks and it's amazing. It is so quiet, you cant even tell its on. Thank goodness for the red LED that shines on the floor to let you know its on. Great product and will continue to purchase Bosch in the future!
