A dishwasher that REALLY cleans dishes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE IT! One month old and used more than the previous dishwasher was used in 8 years...because it actually works! I'd use it daily if hubby and I dirtied that many dishes. I load everything so I can use it as much as possible. The previous dishwasher became a drying rack! I love the new top rack (versatile and safe for tupperware) and the adjustable height 2nd rack - the average top rack. EVERYTHING gets clean, the dishwasher itself stays clean, and it is SILENT. If not for the red light shining on the floor, you'd never know it was running!

Extremely Quiet And Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my Bosch Dishwasher for little over a year. Runs sooooo quiet. Dishes come out spotless. Reliable too: no mechanical issues. The only improvements I would recommend: 1) the equivalent of a cup of water remains in the filter cavity at the bottom of the dishwasher after the wash cycle finishes. It would be better if it drained completely; 2) Plastic around door handle should be made of material that won't crack with age. NOTE: neither of these suggested improvements would stop me from buying another unit; TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH WHAT I PURCHASED !!!

Really nice dishwasher - quiet and large capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this dishwasher over a year ago and have been very pleased with our choice. We were replacing an old noisy dishwasher and wanted something quieter. We were very pleased at how quiet this one is while running. I was worried my dishes may not fit as well in this dishwasher as it looked so different inside. The tines felt so close together. But my dishes fit very well. In fact, I can fit many more dishes in it than my old one. We only run our dishwasher every few days so I liked the silverware rack on top that allows us to remove the silverware basket and get more room in the bottom rack. The delay feature is very nice too and I have used that often to run it at a later time. This dishwasher has many features on it so my advice is to think about what you use on your present dishwasher as that is mainly what you will use on this one. I most often use the automatic or normal cycle and occasionally add the delay. Many people had said the new dishwashers don't dry the dishes and I was worried about that but found that if I don't open the dishwasher soon after it's finished, I don't have a problem. I usually run it and then open it at least a few hours later to unload and everything has been dry. Also, I found a section in the owner's manual on how to turn on the intensive drying feature which I did. It does vent out the side which I was also concerned about but that has not been a problem even though it vents into another cabinet. We have had no issues with that or any aspect of this dishwasher. It always gives us clean, dry dishes. We bought the Bosch for reliability and I expect it will give us many years of great service.

I installed it myself, which went really well (thanks to good instructions and engineering). Dishes are clean and dry! Looks great too.

Very Quiet. Racks don't fit my dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a Bosch for the quality and quiet. Unfortunately forgot to try out my dishes in the racks. Racks are designed to pass Energy Star type performance tests - lots of plates and small bowls. Not designed for serving bowls, cutting boards, saucepans. Had for several weeks and still trying to figure out how to load. Fortunately I know that running partial loads is ok so stopped worrying about trying to fit dishes into empty areas that won't hold my dishes.

BETTER THAN I THOUGHT

Very Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this dishwasher for one year. It replaced a Kitchenaid that was anything but reliable and lasted all of 5-1/2 years. My wife comes from Germany and worked in her father's store which sold electronic products an appliances. She suggested it was about time we switched to Bosch. The product is easy to operate and the features fit our lifestyle. We believe this product provides value for our investment.
