Bosch Dishwasher Rating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may be the worst disfhwasher we ever owned. The dishwahser cleans very well, dyring leaves somehting to be desired as we have to dry several items after the cycle is complete. The problem lies between useage where the inside of this dishwasher smnells like a garbage can. We done everything Bosch and their service represenestiative tell us to do inluding the type of soap, the plumbing and running the machine more often and nothing works. When you open the door the entire kitchen smells. we are not sving up to throw out a fairly new dishwasher an dbuy a brand that does not smell up our kitchen

Great quiet 19.5 years old machine

Purchased Bosch dishwasher with same model number on 2/25/2000, and itm has been trouble free! Until it would not start because the breaker OPEN. When breaker 'closed' the unit began to smoke and bburn out the control box.

Bosch Dishwasher review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent dishwasher and has many fine features and performs very well. Cleans dishes, wine glasses and all silver perfectly.
It just does have scope to improve in one area
The installation process and guide couldd be better. There is confision about the brackets to be use for anchoring the dishwasher and it took an extended call to figure the correct bracket to be used and the instructions which were in the manula online was different than the ones provided by tech support during the call.
Such a fine engineering company as Bosch should be able to improve on this simple issue and make it a painless process for the installer and the customer.

Back panel seal is leaking, can't be replaced

It seems that I am not the only customer with this problem. I have used the unit for 5 years and it is now leaking in the back seal, which has no part number and is not replacable. It seems that the leak has been developing for some time and just recently leaked into the bottom of the unit to trigger the E15 code. The repair man I hired had never seen this before. Bosch, this is unacceptable. The unit has been great but now is useless. This is definitely a design flaw that must be addressed.

Quiet

It was quiet but as time goes on it gets noisier. I guess things loosen up. The handle broke after the first year and it wasn't covered under warranty. It was also very expensive to replace so I zip-tied it together. We're in our 6th year with this machine and now it has no power. (Outlet has power. I checked.) I thought I was buying a great dishwasher. Looking back, I should've bought the extended warranty.

Should have bought something else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for 11 months. On the positive side it is quiet. There are several things that we do not like: 1) We have to hand dry some of the dishes, 2) We have had to replace the plastic control panel as the printing wore off, and the control panel is difficult to use - you have to press hard on the plastic 3) Silverware in the top tray does not get clean unless it is pre-rinsed and 4) We do not like the configuration of the lower rack as it is difficult to load pots, pans and bowls. Overall we are disappointed in this dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It STINKS...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher in 2014 and we hoped the awful odor would go away. It has not and we are now going to ditch it and buy a new dishwasher. It will not be a Bosch. The odor is so bad. The smell has permeated the plastic coated racks and my dishes. They will also have to be replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best dishwasher !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a cleaning person working in New York city i have 16 places where I'm working every week!My client has different dishwasher and i have difficult time sometimes because the dishes didn't get clean or wet when is the circle is done!My one of client buy the new BOSCH dishwasher (not the very expensive!!)and after first used was surprise me because she newer rinse the dishes before load the machine!
I was state the machine express was 30-40 min the dishes completely clean and dry!!!I was recommend for my another client and she buy BOSCH !!!Im so HAPPY my job is easier!!!!And this Christmas is a gift for me from my boyfriend BOSCH dishwasher !!!!I love it!!
