Not great, not terrible

Bought a new house with this unit in it already. It seems to get the job done as long as you give things a little wipe before putting into the dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought dishwasher a couple of months ago and we are happy with it so far. Have always bought frigidaire products and they work for us but in this day and age with the disposable type of society we hope we get a lot of use/time out of this dishwasher.

It doesn't dry at all! Tech came out to check it and said they changed them to use less energy so you now have to open it to dry it out. Hahaha!

Papandred, I hate to hear about your lack of drying experience with your dishwasher. Here are some items to check. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-125 degrees for the best cleaning potential. Ensure you run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower), and don’t forget the rinse aid. I hope this helps! If not, don’t hesitate to reconnect directly. Warm regards, Ruth

Nice New Addition to the home

This unit was bought to replace a very similar one that I received from a friend. He was remodeling his home and ended up not needing the previous one. That one very shortly after I installed it, stopped working. Had to make the decision to get a new one or not. We decided to go with this unit. It has been working very great. Don't like how it has the garden hose inlet but made it work. It's been running a lot lately and am pleased with the efficiency of this machine. It was stated that this was a louder model because it has a lot of plastic. As with many appliances you can hear them which I don't mind. It's not anymore loud than other units that I have heard. Bottom line. It works great.

Bought this dish washer about a month ago and am very pleased with it; it's very quiet, not sure it's running some times and is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. This dish washer holds about a 2 day's supply of dishes for our family, very economical.

More or less does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is much louder than my old one and my dishes consistently come out wet. The silverware basket retains water to the degree that you need to put a towel down on the counter before you can unload your silverware drawer.

Har826, thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience with us. There are many conditions that can impact cleaning and drying, the most common being temperature. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-130 degrees for the best cleaning and drying potential. If you are uncertain if your water is the appropriate heat, check your water heater's temperature reading. To help get the hottest water to your dishwasher, try letting water run in your sink until it’s hot (like you do before getting in the shower). This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. Don’t forget to use rinse aid. Check to make sure the rinse aid dispenser is full. The dispenser window may show a dot to indicate its level, or it may function like a fuel gauge. If the dispenser is low, remove the cap and fill the reservoir (page 11 in your Owner’s Manual). Be sure to clean the filter regularly (page 12 in your Owner’s Manual). Selecting the heat dry option in combination with rinse aid will enhance drying performance. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

New Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New Dishwasher!
We recently moved into a home with this unit installed. After 1 month of use, we are very happy. It is quiet, efficient and I can fit a ton of dirty dishes inside. We have not used any of the additional features yet, delay wash or top rack wash only, but it’s good to know we have options. It almost works too well, after a wash we need to prop the door open so we get 100% dry. This is common with many of the units I’ve had in the past and would not keep us from recommending this to friends.
Good luck and happy washing

Nikita, I am sorry to hear about your dishwasher experience. I have some things that may help. There are many conditions that can impact cleaning and drying, the most common being temperature. This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. Don’t forget to use rinse aid, it really makes a difference. Check to make sure the rinse aid dispenser is full. The dispenser window may show a dot to indicate its level, or it may function like a fuel gauge. If the dispenser is low, remove the cap and fill the reservoir (page 13 in your Owner’s Manual). Be sure to clean the filter regularly (page 14 in your Owner’s Manual).
