I'M SORRY TO SAY THAT MY PREVIOUS DISHWASHER, FRIGIDAIRE(SAME TYPE AS NEW ONE) LASTED 8 YEARS AND CLEANED GREAT. THIS ONE DOES NOT SEEM AS POWERFUL AND DOES NOT CLEAN AS WELL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher looks good but the heating element does not get hot enough to heat the water thoroughly. Soap often doest not fully disenegrate. Had to call warenty service for a squeeling sound. Overall it looks great but does not wash very well. Kind of disappointing.

Hello Bvak! We want to personally thank you for sharing your important quality and design feedback. Your voice and suggestions matter to us as we constantly strive to be the best home appliance company in North America. We would recommend using a rinse aid if you are not using one already. Also check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Also check the incoming water temperature to be sure it is not less than 120°F (49°C) at the sink closest to the dishwasher. We ask that if you have any current questions or concerns, please contact you us directly. Kindest regards –

Why does it smell inside?

We bought the entire Kitchen series in the design and I love the look and the other appliances that we got. I can't understand why it always smells inside. I would love to get a response back as to what I can do to get rid of this. I've only owned this for 3 weeks.

Hello Kkars! We greatly appreciate you taking your time to share your experience with us. We recommend that you use the following tips to alleviate the odor you are experiencing in your dishwasher. Additionally, we recommend leaving the door to your dishwasher slightly open after each cycle to allow the interior cavity to dry. • Run a cycle with no dishes. Once the dishwasher has completed its initial fill, add one cup of white vinegar and complete the cycle. • If you have a garbage disposal in use, please review the installation instructions to ensure the “odor trap” is properly set up. If applicable, run several orange or lemon peels through the dispenser to eliminate the odor. Please contact us directly should you find these suggestions do not resolve your concerns. Thank you –

Cleans well, but you still have to rinse off food bits.

Lack of service providers.

I bought the dishwasher in the early spring. It cleans beautifully and is very quiet. A cable to the left side of the door that controls it opening and closing broke. A repair company in my area was sent. They looked found the broken cable and said I would hear from them in a week. They never ordered the part. I called them three weeks later and they had no idea who I was. The next assigned company put me out over 30 days because I was out of the area. It still waits to get fixed. Frigidaire needs more repair options in Maine it hurts your brand name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not dry my dishes
on December 10, 2015

I've had my dishwasher less than a year, and it's never dried the dishes very well. I noticed it in the beginning, but it wasn't too bad...just some moister on glasses and dishes. Recently the dishes have been coming out very wet, like it didn't go through the drying process. I final called in for service, they said my steam vent wasn't opening properly. And the heating element probably needs replacing. They had to order parts, which we still waiting on. The positive is Frigidaire covers the service.
