My brother sent me the first season of "Dexter" and told me not to blame him when I became addicted to it. I quickly became addicted. I am now on Season 3 and plan to get the remaining 4 seasons as well. Parts may be a bit gory, but it's only a movie, and it's well done with the way it grabs your attention and won't let go, and the twists and turns that you just don't see coming are great. I highly recommend this series. And the quality of the DVDs is good. Best Buy's ordering and delivery process are hassle-free as well.

Great Second Season

I had never really watched Dexter, but have been slowly watching through the prior seasons. Season 2 is really good, with lots of suspense, an expanding of the cast of characters, the relationships, and the background of Dexter. There's not a big antagonist character like the first season, but there's still plenty of suspense
