This freezer keeps accumulating frost around the top. I've had a service person out twice and the problem has not been resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You need this freezer

Just the right size...not too big and not too small. Lid hinges are spring loaded assist type, lid is heavy duty but lifts with ease. Love the light in the lid, can see every corner of the inside. Very quiet. All around very happy with it...100%. Only good thing that has happened to me in 2020 is this freezer.

I have my freezer outside on the porch under cover. When I first got it had formed ice around the part where the trays set. And forms ice crystals going down each side about 18 inchs. Other than that I am pleased with it.

I bought this freezer primarily because I wanted to put it in my garage and this unit is specifically built as garage-ready and could handle the varying temperatures we have here in the Northeast. I'm happy with the performance of the freezer itself, but there is one fmissing feature that I find annoying. The unit does not have wheels so once you put it down in your garage, it's almost impossible to move it. My garage gets dusty and I vacuum it frequently and getting behind the freezer was a must for me. So I had to put my unit on a furniture dolly. Works okay but obviously would have been better if this unit had lockable wheels (like many other manufactures provide).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very happy with this purchase. The price was magnificent. Why did it take me so long to buy this freezer? Excellent in every way: service, design, operation, convenience of storage and accessibility. Love the light when you open it.
