For all the 7 cubic foot freezers out there this seemed to have the biggest bang for the buck!

Bought this for extra freezer space. So impressed!! Holds so much! Extra baskets are helpful for little things like fruit and vegetables. In love so far!

We bought GE freezer over another brand which was priced lower. But we made right decision of picking this one. A friend who bought the other brand a year ago got impressed after looking our freezer staying so quietly when compressor is on.

A massive improvement!

When we moved into this house it had a feeezer from the 1950s which was drawing so much power that it was costing over $10/month to operate. This unit, by comparison, is much quieter, cooler, and is metering in at just over a dollar a YEAR to operate!
Granted, compared to our old freezer I'm sure it would have taken less energy to just store all of our goods in a hole at the top of Mt Hood and drive out there every time we needed anything out of the "feeezer".. so anything would have been an improvement. Maybe I'll have complaints once I finally get used to this unit but, for now, I'm exceedingly satisfied with my purchase.
