Needed new freezer

we had a larger freezer that was taking up alot of space, we bought this and so far it has worked great, its just what we need

Very Nice and functional

Just got this delivered june 19 2015 and got it set up and turned on and it cooled down to zero degrees in 2 hours or so.Like the 2 baskets and looks like it will hold a lot of food for my use.Freezer looks very nice and fit in my apartment just perfect.
I was disappointed to see the back of the freezer where the compressor is and the cord comes out there is no cover to go over this big square cutout.Rodents could easily build a home in there or even a child could get their hand in there where the electrical componets are.
Dont know if there should be a cover but there is 4 screw holes so i assume there should be one.Maybe the installers left it off or GE just dont put one on there.
In any case it would shure improve the quality if that hole was covered.

I purchased the same size freezer a year ago for my daughter, I so so impressed with it that I purchased one last year to replace my upright 25 year freezer , I am just as satisfied as she was . So far seems to be a quality product at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a chest freezer.

Bought our medium chest size GE freezer in February 2015. Thus far, the freezer has performed efficiently and provides us with the extra storage we needed. We have several trouble free GE appliances in our home. Trusting this freezer will also provide many years of service.

Have had the freezer for about 6 months, like the size, only problem is : build up of frost where the hinges are , seal not as tight as should be.
