Bought in October and works great had a problem with freezer not getting cold contacted GE and repairman came right out within 3 days and help me get problem solved!

ok freezer

We have used this freezer for three months. The size is perfect for us, a retired couple, and we like that it has two hanging baskets. While it does its job of freezing very well, there is one concern or complaint. Frost develops and collects on the top rim where the seal from the top lid rests upon the body of the freezer. This suggests to me that there is a problem with the seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall very happy! Freezer got down to temperature very quickly, has maintained an almost frost free environment and looks great! We have been filling it with everything from homemade stocks to individual servings of soup for work lunches.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The straight sides make it easy to clean and provides for more storage space. Love the movable baskets for smaller items.
