Great Freezer

We bought this freezer to replace a very old upright freezer that was in our house when we purchased it in November. I was hesitant about a chest freezer, having had one while living in Minnesota, but I just love this one. We live in Florida and have the freezer in the garage. It keeps everything frozen solid and so far only a tiny amount of frost. I am thinking about putting some insulation on it for the really hot summer months here, but I'm not sure it will need it. This thing works great, and is SILENT! Only reason I gave it four stars for features is that does not self defrost, but it has a drain.

Loving the freezer so far. Only draw back is that the switch is very low to the ground. Recently our 2-year-old turned it off and we didn't realize it until a few weeks later. Made for a smelly freezer but we cleaned it up and are using it again fine.

I bought this for my business, but had size restrictions. This freezer gave me the needed stacking space along with 2 trays for ice packs. Initiating freezing time was quick and instruction book well detailed. Best product for size and cost.
