My max 4 does a great job. It keeps my new phone clean, dry and safe. And it looks good doing it. The holster / stand is wonderful. I stand my phone up next my chair and don't have to pick it up when it rings to see who it is. A great help when working with something and can't put it down to grab the phone.

This phone is amazing!
Select your contact bring the phone near your ear and it starts dialing.
Speaker phone sounds good and so do the head phones.
The touch screen is fantastic and responsive.
Also the motion detection for hand wave scrolling.
This is incredible, and so fast.
I only notice the otter box case when I clip it to my belt and the snapping sound lets me know that it is secure.
Then I remember why I got the case in the first place…
The idea of having the phone fall out of my pocket…. Too much of a risk.
Also my belly has a tendency to knock phones off belt clips.
This one snaps in place and does not come out of the holder.

I went with the bright orange camo Real Tree Defender case,
So if I dropped it in a parking lot at night,
the phone would be safe
the orange would help make it visible.
The screen cover does not affect the touch screen.

Real Tree Case

Plastic Clips on inner Liner are very thin and will break VERY Easy. Decal Scratches Very Easy , Outer Cover is not very shock resistant. Needs to be a softer Material , like the regular Defender Series. Looks Good though.
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK guys, can't say enough good things about this case. Top notch and it is durable, protective and yes I will say it, somewhat sexy. I only have 1 issue that keeps me from giving this product 5 stars......It is the detachable belt clip.
The belt clip does not pivot and turn. Makes it really difficult to sit down with it on as it digs into my love handles. Have had holsters in the past that I could twist the phone around n to make it more comfortable for sitting or for even detaching to phone to take a call.
Just don't like the non-pivoting belt clip. The belt clip played into my decision to get the Otterbox. But now that I have it, I really like it even though I hate the belt clip that came with it.

I love this case. It is great. It just does NOT fit the S4 active phone. I really wish that it did because then this would be a 5 star case.

holster needs work

Love the case but the holster comes off the belt occasionally for a couple of reasons. For one thing the hook portion doesn't have a gap quite as wide as my belt is thick so the belt just sits on top of the hook. Also had to modify the clasp so it wouldn't lock open when I'm doing a lot of bending. I don't see any reason for having a lock open function.
