Waste of money

I bought this case for my galaxy s4 hoping to keep it safe in the event of possible damage but following a four foot drop onto a carpeted surface with this case on the LCD screen behind the glass shattered. I would've expected a phone without a cover to survive that type of impact and I wouldn't have imagined a phone with a protector to break so easily. If all you're worried about is scratches in the finish than this will do the trick, but as far as impact protection don't expect much.
Cons: Low quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my s4 for about three months now, I started out with the defender case but didn't like it because of the screen protector getting that "oil" look under it so I swapped it out with a commuter and put my own screen protector on it. Overall it's a great case with a good amount of protection. This cases is good for drops but be aware that if you drop it directly on the bottom you can split or break the plastic piece above the rubber charging port. Overall it's a good case and definitely worth the money if you want to protect your phone.
Pros: Durable, High quality

I've a just purchased a second case after using my last one for almost year. The quality is great, the customer service is good, and when I had a problem with my first case they helped replace it. My only problem is that the green I ordered, on the screen it looked a bit darker and more my style, while the green I received was pretty bright. Other than that, I love the case.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: color wasn't what was expected

This case does not protect good

I was on my was to clock in at work and dropped it like 3 feet and the whole screen cracked went to ballestic

Screen Protector Too Long

I love the case itself, it's durable, doesn't feel like a brick, and is easy to remove when you have to slip the GS4 into an arm band for running.
My problem is with the adhesive screen protector that came with the Commuter - it is simply too long. If installed properly on the bottom, the home button will be significantly covered up. The attached pictures show the best solution of it being slightly over the top (which is of little concern since the silicone case covers it) and the home button only partially covered. Having the bottom cut-out for the home button be 2-3 millimeters higher would have made for a perfect fit.
The case is great, but the total package of the case plus the adhesive screen protector leaves room for improvement.

though the protection is just what it was advertised to be i am annoyed at the obvious color issue. raspberries are red. red. not pink. when did a person ordering red decide pink would be an ok default? nay sir's the color isnt what i ordered though the protection makes up for the fact that im giving it a revamp. thank you
