Ice Maker is Complete Garbage

i have had this now for a little over two years, and the ice maker has always been slow which was irritating but not it just jams all the time and seems like it takes forever to get a cup full of ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this thing is so loud (constant buzzing and humming) that we had the installers (lowes) come out twice to try and troubleshoot. they finally came to the conclusion that it was just a loud refridgerator! the absolute worst though, is the ice dispenser. it has been frozen up for over 6 months now and will not open. we have tried to defrost it several times now to no avail. it’s stuck and will not budge. most expensive piece of junk we have ever purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never have I regretted a purchase until this one. I purchased this 5 years ago and every year we have to get it serviced at least once if not multiple times because the ice makes ices over. This is not a cheap or easy fix but a costly repair if not under a warranty.

fridge is complete junk, do not buy..... noting but problems. ice maker ices over and freezes up, water leaks in bottom of main compartment, food in main compartment freezes junk, junk, junk

Not worth the money

purchased samsung refrigerator, gas stove and microwave, well microwave lasted about 2 1/2 yrs refrigerator started giving us problems at 2 yrs old now im looking on buying a new one rather than have it serviced for the 3rd time, dont waste tiur money on samsung appliances, samsung is only good at phones.

Broken, Broken, and Broken

in my past i had a vintage round top frigidaire, and an amana. i replaced both due to changing styles, they both worked over 20 years without failing, including the amana with a ice maker.
in 2015 we bought the samsung and it worked a couple years without any trouble. then we started having ice build up under the pantry drawer, and had to clean out every couple months. we found what seems to be a cure on the internet, to install a longer drain tube heater.
about the same time the ice maker started freezing up, and that needed defrosting every couple months. so we have had trouble constantly since this refrigerator was 2 years old, and now the ice maker quit all together.
any advice would be appreciated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i am looking at purchasing a new refrigerator right now after wasting $150 for samsung to tell me this garbage will cost another $500 to fix. that is not even including the ice machine which has been broken for a few months now after being serviced several times and even replaced. the fridge is just barely 3 years old! i guess this is a common issue but samsung doesnt back their products. all of my major appliances are samsung but i will be sure to change that one at a time starting with the fridge. my samsung stove knobs all broke within two years of having also.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

google this model online, its notoriously horrible. no warranty support, the fridge won't make ice, freezes over, breaks, leaks, what a nightmare.
there is a class action lawsuit about these fridges.
