BEAUTIFUL FRIDGE

I bought 3 Samsung major appliances at once so I have been getting to know the features/manuals of each and have waited to write my reviews. I am starting with this one beacause it is my favorite! :)
First, this fridge is beautiful. I have no other words for it. I chose this model over the one with the exterior counter height drawer (which is what I had originally wanted). After spending an hour at the store opening and closing and measuring (LOL), I realized that this one simply had more door storage and we did not want to give that up.
The pantry drawer is awesome. Holds EVERYTHING that I need it to and we have yet to fill it up. The fold aside shelf is perfect as we always have at least 1 bottle of wine chilling. I am able to put an entire airbake cookie sheet on one shelf to cool cookies, which is amazing and made my holiday baking that much easier.
The ice maker is fast and not as noisy as my prevoius fridge (WPG Conquest). The water is COLD and it does not drip. IF you follow the instructions and dispense a few pitchers of water it will remove the air pockets and you will have no dripping.
There is a place for everything and this is NOT a small fridge (even thought the specs state that it is 3 cubic feet smaller than the one we replaced). We will probably never fill it completely. The freezer space matches that. HUGE. And a turkey will fit in the bottom without crowding, as will frozen pizzas, so I was very happy about that. A gallon of milk fits in the door, but I like it on a shelf inside on the right(part of the above shelf folds away to allow ease of milk storage).
No problem with finger prints or dents as the handles allow for all opening and beg to be touched.
Nothing else to add except that I have my hubby's word that we will be buying this for the next house too! We both are amazed that we could like an appliance this much!
Buy with confidence!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, attractive addition to kitchen, huge amount of storage, cold water

Horrible!

Don’t buy this fridge!! It’s great at first but after a while the ice maker keeps freezing up. And it’s only covered for a year so right after that year it starts acting up. So I do not recommend this fridge at all! Ice maker problems look it up online there are a lot of complaints about it. So stay away from this fridge!

I'm sorry we bought this refrigerator.

When we viewed this refrigerator in the showroom we were impressed by its' appearance, in particular, the black stainless finish. However, when it was delivered and we started placing items in it, we learned it is not a very functional refrigerator. The ice cabinet in the refrigerator takes up a lot of needed space. You cannot properly retrieve gallons of products like milk and juice without a struggle. The plastic used to cover the refrigerator is nearly impossible to remove because it is imbedded in the creases of the unit. We are very dissatisfied with this refrigerator and if we could we would return it. We have only had this unit for 1 week. The vendor stated that they consider it a used time and we cannot return it. We would like to hear from Samsung.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not very functional.

water leaks from ice maker into fridge

leaking water from ice make into fridge as soon as warranty passed. Everything replaced. Spent 100's of dollars on a problem that obviously cant be fixed due to poor design!!! Also, ice make freezes up about once a month, along with the massive leaking into the meat tray of the fridge. I have figured out that I can use a blow dryer and defrost the ice maker to make it work again for a short time until it happens again. Piece of Junk! Also bought a Samsun washer that the entire side blew out during the spin cycle!!! Less than a month old. Samsung, you should stick to making TV's. You do well with that.

Love the look, full of design flaws

I love the look of this fridge, but after two years of ownership I can say it's not a quality product and I cannot wait for the day when I can get rid of it. If you like cubed ice, forget about it. No matter what the control is set for, no matter how you try and adjust the ice bin, you're going to get a mix of both cubed and crushed ice no matter what. It also pushes the ice out of the bin very slowly. The ice maker itself tends to completely ice up every couple of months thus having to be defrosted with a hair dryer before it will start making ice again. And speaking of defrosting, the drain line that is supposed to carry the defrost water down to the bottom of the fridge ices up thus forcing all of the defrost water to collect underneath the deli tray. Hope you won't mind cleaning up that mess periodically. The rollers on the deli try are pretty flimsy so when you do pull out the deli tray it tends to go all wonky and get stuck. Several people online have complained about a noisy compressor and a loud banding sound, but fortunately we haven't had that issue. Is it just a matter of time? Who knows. But what I do know is that I would not recommend this fridge and will probably never purchase another Samsung appliance based on my experience with this fridge.

Well I was looking at this fridge for months and finally bought about a month ago and must say I love it. Spacious, the LED light, the alarm if door stays open notice veggies and deli stay younger fresh then with previous fridge I highly recommend this Samsung refrigerator

Poor quality ice marker

The worst refrigerator I have owned. The ice marker doesn’t work for more then a week and you have to take it apart and use your hairdryer to defrost it . Will not buy Samsung kitchen appliances in the future .
